Winter Time - Cold Climate- Poem

It so cold today. Will I be able to stay being outside for an hour. I need to walk around the block. I PUT ON MY THICK SWEATS AND SWEATER, WITH MY HIGH TOP BOOTS.

I need to get a breath of fresh air. The gas furnace is giving off fumes, I can smell them, and I don't know if they are toxic.

I feel sick being inside all day in the house. I will turn on the TV, bet they'll have a good show, about about Florida, or California, or the South Sea Island.

Anywhere but New York. It's bitter cold on the streets of New York.

I have to be brave and battle the elements. I'm not at the North Pole or Alaska. I wonder why people want to live in a refrigerator. Being in a refrigerator does save your skin. It freezes your face.

I have noticed that when I travel, the people from cold climates look different. They look sort of hard. Of course they wear dull colors. They give no thought to bright colors. This is a give away as to where they are from. Hawaii is a good place to live, you can enjoy the beaches all year long. Bathe in the sun, ride the surf, and listen to the Hawaiian songs and dance. This gives you a happy feeling!

The Islands Nassau, Bahamas is also nice. But look at the cost of traveling or going to these exotic places.

HERE I AM AGAIN, STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, NOWHERE WITH ALL OF THE DISMAL SNOW AND BITTER COLD! I dream of someday going to the places that I am dreamĀ  about.

TO GO THERE, I NEED TO LEARN HOW TO BE THRIFTY AND SAVE MONEY!
