After Beautiful of Bali, this is my next hub tell about amazing places in around Indonesia. One of them is called Lake Toba (indonesian : Danau Toba), location is in North Sumatra 100 km long and 30 km wide, and it is the largest Volcanic Lake in the world. And the incredible of lake toba, there is a small island in the middle of the lake called Samosir.
The beaches are lined with pine trees, the climate is cool and dry, and steep, scenic mountain slopes surround the lake. and more attraction of lake toba so it leads tourist atraction to Sumatra. No doubt if lake toba is called a jewel in the North Sumatra because of it's beautiful and also cool temperate ecological zone, crisp air, etc. The Dutch writer Rudy Kousbroek even called lake toba 'The Most Beautiful Place in The World'.
Lake Toba is just over 100 miles (4-5 hours) by road from north Sumatran port city of Medan. It is possible to fly into Medan from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Penang.
