Why Baby Boomers United as a title for this group?

With so many encouraging me to write a book on my life experiences (some good, some bad and some extremely ugly experiences), I finally decided to make this an "open book" experience. I learned a long time ago that if you share your experiences it helps prevent others from making the same mistakes. In addition, the best experience is to learn from mistakes made by others!   It is a lot less painful! This learning process begins when we enter this world and the learning experience should never stop, even when it is painful. 

Therefore, with friends across the globe, I am opening up this forum to enable all Baby Boomers (or anyone who wants to learn from this sixties generation) to unite and learn from each other. And, what could possibly be a better time to do this? Memorial Day weekend, 2009, when the entire country is going through the worst recession ever?!? I think almost everyone could use a boost to their morale and I hope this site will provide a little comfort to all.

This is NOT a match making site, but an experience-sharing group. I hope by opening this up to everyone worldwide, we can learn from each other and grow from this experience. Who knows what doors this will open up for each of us! So, welcome to a new way of communicating with the ones who have truly been there, done that and have paid for and worn the t-shirts!
