Stump On How To Word Your Baby Shower Invitations?

So your close friend, sister, or daughter is having a baby! This is an exciting time for you and the expectant mother, and what a privilege for you to help her by throwing a baby shower for her! You will have great opportunity to be creative and think of lots of unique ideas to make the day a special one. First thing on the planning to-do list after picking a date and making a guest list will be sending out invitations. But how should you word the invitations? That is a very extensive question, for there are many options. Once again, this will allow you the avenue to be creative and word the invitations in just the right to highlight the mother-to-be.

Wording on invitations for the baby shower can be anything from very traditional to adorably cute. It can play directly to the expectant couple or be more generic in nature. A good thing to remember is to keep it understandable and practical, giving all of the necessary information in a concise manner. However, there is still a lot of room for variety and unique wording.

For something more traditional, you can word the baby shower invitation in such a way:

Stepping Outside the Box

There are a lot of ways to change a traditional wording up. You could begin by saying, "Let's celebrate with Misty, our mother-to-be" or "Join us in celebration for Eliza's new baby", or even something very simple. "A baby shower to celebrate with Chris and Jessica."

Regardless of how you word the invitation, though, be sure to include all of the pertinent information including who the shower is for, the date, time, location, hostess, RSVP taker and contact information, and places where your expectant mother is registered.

Perhaps you'd like to have a bit more ingenuity and present those baby shower invitations in a clever way. Try some of these ideas on for size!
