You Can Lose Back Fat with these 7 Techniques, I Know You Can!

There are 7 basic techniques you can use to boost the performance of any fat loss program. These techniques have helped me to achieve my goals in the past and have also worked well for many others.

  1. Set Acheivable Goals - Don't try to reach to far and cause yourself to feel like your failing before you really get started
  2. Be Prepared! - Take some steps before you begin to make your transition in to your fat loss program easier. Get rid of junk food. Stock up on the healthy foods you'll be needing. Make an emergency plan to deal with cravings.
  3. Reward Yourself - Once you meet a short term goal, give yourself a treat.
  4. Don't Skip Breakfast! - It's the most important meal of the day. Skipping it is a sure fire way to run into diet busting hunger pangs and trigger an eating frenzy.
  5. Exercise - Getting your body moving boosts your metabolism and helps burn more fat.
  6. Get Some Sleep - Recent studies have found a link between lack of sleep and weight gain.
  7. Relax - Meditate, listen to music, or get a hobby. Doing something that takes your mind off your troubles will reduce stress and help your fat loss program work better.

Following these simple steps will boost the performance of any fat loss program and help ensure your success.

The Best Back Fat Exercises

The quickest way to lose back fat is by losing fat over your entire body. Spot reduction is a myth, your body naturally releases fat starting in the extremities and then working back in toward it's core. The organs most involved in burning fat are your muscles. Increasing muscle mass will help you burn more fat. You can also burn more fat by working more of the muscle that you already have.

Your exercise routine should be built around multi-joint exercises that work out the largest muscle groups in your body, specifically the legs, chest , and back. Focusing on these muscle groups greatly increases your metabolism during and upto 24 hours after your workout. Three of my favorite back fat exercises are:

  • Renegade Dumbbell Rows
  • Front Squats with Barbells
  • Mountainclimbers on Floor

I found a detailed description of these at "Exercises for Abs - 3 of the Best that Aren't". These are multi-joint exercises so they work just as well for back fat as belly fat.

You can also do some "Quick Exercises" that will get you outdoors and add fun to your workout.

Nutrition Facts to Boost Back Fat Exercises

A healthy, balanced, and nutritious diet. It's the halmark of any decent fat loss program. Eliminating the junk food and replacing it with good, nutritious alternatives is usually all that you will need to do. I'm talking about eating the right kinds of food at proper interval to ensure your bodies needs are met and help it burn fat. Eating smarter and more naturally will automatically filter out all the junk you've been storing and speed up your weight loss.

WARNING: Calorie restriction or "starvation" diets can do more harm than good for fat loss. With the reduction in calories your body is fooled into thinking that you are starving and it immediatley slows down your metabolism, thereby defeating your effort to loss fat.
