It seems that back pain is part of life. I have a curved spine and have been dealing with back pain all my life. Here are some exercises that help to relieve back pain.

Exercise One

For this exercise, you need another person to help or a sturdy piece of furniture to hold on to.

Lay flat on your back with legs on floor straight out in front of you.

Legs should be together.

Have another person stand in back of you with her/his legs about shoulder with apart. Hold on to this person's ankles.

Now raise your legs slowly in front of you keeping them extended. Raise to about a 45 degree angle.

Then lower them slowly to the floor. .

Do the same exercise with legs turned to the left and right at about the 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock position.

Exercise 2

Lay on your back.

Bring knees to chestwith knees bent.

Wrap arms around your knees.

Rock backward and forward on your spine.

Also, rock from side to side.

Exercise 3

Lay flat on the floor on your stomach.

Legs fully extended about shoulder with apart.

Push yourself up on your arms with arms fully extended in front of you as though you are doing a pushup

Palms are flat on the floor with palms turned inward. .

Your upper body should be off the floor with only your knees and lower legs still on the floor.

Hold this position for several seconds, stretching out your back.

Then lower yourself slowly to the floor.

In addition, swimming is an excellent way to relieve all kinds of aches and pains. If you don't know how to swim, don't worry. I like to walk back and forth from one end of the pool to the other. I walk backwards and forwards. The resistance of the water helps the back as well.
