Just when kids are getting comfortable in knowing that school is over and planning their summer routine - they are bombarded with back to school ads.

Walmart has a 20 page booklet so does Bed bath and beyond. Walk up an down Walgreens and you will find employees clearing up summer aisles to stock back to school items.

I heard over the radio the other day that K-mart and Sears have started their Christmas sales. No more THANKSGIVING and Black Friday sales?

Retailers are digging deeper into the empty pockets of consumers are getting their commitments well ahead of schedule. Probably they fear the holiday season will be gloomier than last year and want to get those sales while they are still basking in summer holidays.

Hopefully the retailers know what they are doing. they are probably backed by some research and data mining reports that recommend these tactics.

To me personally, it changes the perception of life in general and shortens a calendar year.

School supplies were to begin early to mid- August. No mention of Christmas until October and so on. Allow consumers to savor the season without laying the pressure of the next holiday or event.

Alas those days may never come again. Now I have to worry about who has the best sales for my children going back to school, which medical program provides the best coverage and are they taking Accu**** like product for their allergies, acne etc. I try shopping for the best possible cost-effective yet works medication. If you have tips share them with your comments.
