It is that time of year again! Kids are getting ready for school and ready to go back to class and study. NOT.

Summer isn't close to being over, as far as weather is concerned, so kids aren't ready to go back to school. Yet that isn't my reason for writing. I have decided to return to school for my latest degree; Nursing. Although this will be my third degree, I am also attending ministry classes. So will have a few degrees by the time 2009 is finished!

I have an Associates degree in Police Science, a BA in Criminal Justice, a certificate for Judicial Assistant (doesn't count as a degree), and working on Nursing and ministry!

It is funny how essential education is to the changing economic times. WHY? Well you need more in order to get by with less. Sometimes!  I have learned that being content is great, but how are you content with nothing to show for it? Well, I know that gives me my answers when I ask. When I talked to HIM about the option of being in Nursing it was a way of submission within my family that gives HIM the glory and me a testimony.

So why Nursing and ministry? Well, we all have to be servants in some way, right? I believe I can help the babies in the hospital and help the babes in Christ. It is just that simple. Do I have the money to do all of this at once? No, but I do have the faith to get it all done. I also chose nursing because I can work weekends as a nurse and then quit my daytime job. Now, that will be next year, but still, having a plan is better than no plan.(I think there is good money in that too!)

So back to school again, working on Nursing and ministry.I am doing what I think is best for my family as a whole.
