Back Links : They Are Important
45Back links are very important to bloggers. The more back links you have, the better page rank you get, the more traffic you receive.
I think that many people under estimate the power of having quality back links from multiple sources. What is the point of starting a blog or website if you have no way to contact people about it. Do the smart thing and make as many good back links available as possible so that you get more traffic.
Here are a few things you can do(for free) to increase your back links, and in turn the amount of traffic your site generates.
Make sure that every blog post or article that your write has a few keyword links thrown in. This insures that if someone picks up your article and reposts it on their website, that you are getting back links for all the work that you did.
Submit the blog posts and articles you write to multiple websites. If you get lucky and hit a home run with an article, all the back links in your article are pointing to your website. People like to repost things that become popular, and if 10 blogs or websites repost your work, then you have an instant 30 back links to your website.
Add a link to your signatures on forums, social networking sites and email. Again, this creates back links to your site. If you have a related article that you think will help someone, link them to it!
Read other peoples blogs! If you read a great post about the same kind of things that you do, leave quality feedback in a comment on their website. Make sure that you don't forget to put a link back to your site, or a certain article though.
These are all things that you can do very easily, and better yet, free.
