Brush with Baking Soda

When you use baking soda to brush your teeth, it’s much tougher for all anaerobic bacteria to thrive in your mouth and release the sulfur that causes bad breath odor. If you often have a metallic taste in your mouth, frequently put a bit of baking soda onto your toothbrush, apply some toothpaste, and brush. The baking soda will really help to neutralize those excess acids inside of the mouth.

Rinse with Hydrogen Peroxide

While this may seem disgusting at first, it works. Hydrogen Peroxide contains some very useful antimicrobial properties which will help against the bacteria that causes odor. Using Hydrogen Peroxide is perfectly safe as a mouthwash with a very low concentration of the stuff. This has been authorized by the FDA. But it’s essential that you only use a tiny amount as a mouth wash. Do not, I repeat, do not chug it!

Anise Seeds

Many people find that chewing anise seeds helps to kill of the bacteria that causes bad breath. Think of it as sort of a “natural” sugar free gum. You will improve your breath with Anise Seeds the natural way. This is always better than using chemical solutions.

Cloves

Your bad breath treatment may be closer than you think – your kitchen for one. Cloves are very useful for fighting bad breath because they have powerful antiseptic property that halts the production of microorganisms. Now while the trough of chewing cloves may be disgusting, they are not, really. You can nibble them or use them as a mouth wash.

Tea Tree Oil Extract

This has long been floating around the home remedy circles as fantastic acne treatment remedy. Indeed, it’s useful for promoting healthy skin. But besides tea trea oil’s beneficial effect on the skin, it can also be used to treat bad breath because of the strong antimicrobial properties. Tea tree oil will literally KILL the odor-causing bacteria. You can find tea tree oil as a special paste specifically formulated for oral hygiene.

Bad Breath Toothpaste

There are many bad breath toothpastes on the market. These include some bad breath treating ingredient in their formulation. I personally have used AktivOxigen Toothpaste, which has a very good reputation for fighting halitosis and tooth decay. It contain CoEnxzume Q10, aloe vera (heals damaged gums), and florid (fights tooth decay). It also doesn’t have any sugar in it, which is a boon against bad breath.

So these are some simple natural bad breath remedies that will help you cure bad breath. As stated above, diet and proper oral hygiene are also important. If you suffer from halitosis, rest assured with these bad breath remedies, you can eliminate bad breath!
