Being a bad girl has always been fun. We can be elegant, glamorous and "bad".

Gone are the 80s with the hard look, power suits and masculinised fashion. It is time to use our femininity to obtain what we want. It is time that we recognize that our strength of being a woman is exactly that: being a woman, being feminine. Like Marilyn Monroe said once, ""I don't mind living in a man's world as long as I can be a woman in it."

A bad girl believes her desires are shared by the world. She feels that the sun shines for her. She lives in a dream world where everything is posible. Most peope live in their dreams but do not make them real. They act as if there was a divisory line between their dreams and reality. Bad girls make their dreams come true, they know that desire rules the world: Say something with conviction and people will believe it. Your own desires are ultimately more powerful than any limitations.

Mae knew this and she exploited it in her favour. She wasn't just a Classic, she was an Original. She was brilliantly disruptive for her time. She was unique, or as she put it: "I'm no model lady. A model's just an imitation of the real thing." That said it all.
