today we are going slightly from the usual today we cover one of my favorite  messed up movies but you have to watch the unrated version, the rated version is crap. Ichi the Killer The film stars Tadanobu Asano as Kakihara, a sadomasochist yakuza enforcer with a Glasgow smile who enjoys giving and receiving pain in about equal measures. Kakihara's boss Anjo is murdered in a particularly gruesome fashion and a mysterious group arrives to clean up all evidence of the murder, stealing 300 million yen Anjo had in his room while there.

Many of Kakihara's compatriots, including Anjo's English, Cantonese, and Japanese-speaking girlfriend Karen (Alien Sun), suspect that Anjo simply took the money and ran, and Kakihara is convinced the man is alive. His investigation leads him to brutally torture a member of a rival clan, Suzuki (Susumu Terajima), by suspending him from a ceiling with metal hooks through the man's back, shoving stilettos through his body, and pouring boiling grease (from a meal of tempura) on him. In an example of the film's extremely black humor, when asked what he is doing, Kakihara responds nonchalantly, "Just a little torture."

The man turns out to be innocent. To make restitution, Kakihara slices off part of his tongue and offers it to Suzuki's boss (Jun Kunimura). However, the man who tipped Kakihara off to Suzuki and may have more real information, a disheveled old man nicknamed Jijii ("grandpa" or "old man") (Shinya Tsukamoto), is nowhere to be found.

Jijii is, as it turns out, is secretly orchestrating events. Under his wing is a young man, Ichi (Nao Omori), a confused and apparently psychotic individual who is normally unassuming and cowardly, but becomes homicidal when enraged (and who has crying fits when committing his murders). Ichi outfits himself in a rubber stuntman suit with shoes that have razors concealed in the heels. After spying on a pimp brutalizing a prostitute, he first kills the pimp, then the girl. Jijii has so manipulated Ichi as to confuse sexual arousal with homicidal lust in him, and accomplished this by creating a false memory in him of witnessing a rape in high school—which he felt ashamed for wanting to participate in rather than stop.

Kakihara is eventually thrown out of the syndicate for his transgressions, but not before catching word of Ichi. He becomes fascinated with this "total sadist," since perhaps through him he can finally find the ultimate pain he has been seeking—one which neither Karen nor his boss could give him. In a related plot development, Jijii attempts to get better control over Ichi by having Karen seduce him, but the plan backfires and Karen is slaughtered.

Kakihara, along with two corrupt police-detective twin brothers, find Myu-Myu, a prostitute connected with Jijii's gang. In one of the film's more disturbing scenes, they torture her for information. They find one of Jijii's henchmen and torture him to find out where Ichi is. However, at this point, Ichi shows up at Kakihara's compound. He kills Kaneko in front of his son Takeshi, who then goes and kicks Ichi while he is lying on the floor crying. Kakihara soon realizes Ichi can't hurt him, so he inserts two pins into both his ears, to the extent where he is deaf in a suicide attempt. He then looks up as the camera pans to Ichi, standing up in tears holding Takeshi's head in his hand, with the child's corpse lying next to where he stands. He charges at Kakihara and, following a small fight, embeds one of his razor-bladed boots in the center of Kakihara's head. Kakihara stumbles back, claiming it is the greatest feeling ever and falls off the rooftop to his death. Kakihara is found on the compound floor by Jijii, dead but apparently unwounded by Ichi's final attack, revealing that Kakihara was hallucinating the attack (most likely due to sticking the pins into his ears too far and poking his brain), and thus committed suicide. Jijii begins to cry, most likely because he realizes that Kakihara killed himself instead of being killed by Ichi. In essence, Kakihara died under his own terms, whereas Jijii wanted it to be as a result of his doing (in the form of Ichi).

For reasons not made clear to the viewer, Jijii himself is found hanging from a tree in the last moments of the movie; whether he himself committed suicide, or was killed, is unknown. In the last few seconds, Ichi turns around, suggesting that he may have found out about Jiji's hypnosis upon him and killed him in vengeance

Rental Magica, The plot centers around the magician dispatch service and Mage's Society: Astral. The main protagonist of the story is Astral's second President: Itsuki Iba, who, while being young and inexperienced ironically isn't even a Mage. Central to the story are Astral's many adventures with magical spirits and creatures, competing with rival company Goetia, rogue members, taboos and the Dark Magician's Society: Ophion, all while trying to complete enough jobs to pay the bills and fill The Association's quota and evade abolition. Each story arc is written as an incident in which the Astral members and their associates are involved.

.Hack/.Hack G.U. The series takes place mainly within The World, a fictional MMORPG published and maintained by the also fictional CyberConnect Corporation, known as the CC Corporation. Players interact with The World using virtual reality headsets called FMDs (Face-mounted display) and Dreamcast-like controllers. It is the creation of German programmer Harald Hoerwick, who creates the first version, "Fragment", to help create his virtual daughter, Aura.

The World consists of a cluster of servers distributed around the world. When players log in, they materialize in the Root Town of the server they last used. Each server in The World has its own unique Root Town. They are the starting and ending point of any gaming session. In order to properly log out of the game, the player must be in a Root Town. Each Root Town has a Chaos Gate, a large revolving ring used to transport players to areas or other servers. To transport to an Area, a series of three keywords must be entered. These keywords determine such parameters as difficulty, terrain, and weather amongst other things. Most keyword combinations result in an Area with a field and a dungeon.

Each area features a large boundless expanse of terrain of finite size characterized by its open air environment and lack of living civilization. Typically most structures in the fields are the ruins of some long ancient dwellings, or the bones of some massive creature. They contain dungeons, which are labyrinths containing two to five descending levels of interconnected rooms. It contains a single entrance/exit that links the first level to the field and a single stairway between levels. The deepest level of the dungeon contains a special room known for the distinctive floating figure, known as a Gott Statue, behind a golden treasure chest.

Most characters in the .hack franchise are known only by their virtual avatars within The World. The character class chosen determines the base appearance to other players and the role that they can play during combat. Because skills and abilities are given by the items equipped, each character class can only use a specific type of weapon, though some armors can be used by multiple classes. However some character classes are chosen only as a matter of aesthetic value, reflecting the user's self image whether real or ideal. In the beginning there are only six types of classes: Twin Blade, Heavy Blade, Blademaster, Wavemaster, Heavy Axeman, and Long Arm. In .hack//Legend of the Twilight, an expansion to The World was released, introducing the Kickboxer and Werewolf class.

In the real world, Pluto's Kiss, a virus written by a ten-year-old elementary school student, caused a simultaneous crash of all computers and network control systems on the Internet that did not run on the ALTIMIT OS, which subsequently became the dominant operating system worldwide. The Twilight Incident, also known as Pluto Again, and the Second Network Crisis is the series of disasters depicted in the .hack//Games. It involves the massive blackout and system shutdown at Yokohama, which results in multiple car accidents, fires throughout the city, various other system malfunctions in other parts of Japan, and various players of The World ending up comatose. It is caused by the glitching Morganna System, though it is eventually resolved with the full awakening of Aura. Kazushi Watarai is held responsible, despite being hospitalized for the majority of the incident.

Data Drain is an illegal skill that is used by various characters in the franchise. It rewrites data and has the ability to affect people in real life, such as making them fall comatose. It is generally required to "Protect Break" victims before Data Draining them.

today we speak of midori days, Seiji Sawamura is the toughest student in his high school. His grades aren't very good because he fights more than he studies, but he tends to protect the weaker students from bullies. A few classmates idolize him; one (Midori Kasugano from a different school) shyly loves him from afar; but most are just afraid of him, which has made it impossible for him to find a girlfriend. In desperation, he says to himself that he will grow old with only his right hand as lifelong companion—until one morning when he wakes to find a miniature Midori attached to where his right hand used to be.

Over the next two weeks the pair adapt to this sudden and forced closeness. Much mayhem, and some romance, ensue. Seiji does his best to hide Midori from other people; she wears a bandage around her head and pretends to be his injured hand. Midori frequently professes her love to Seiji , but Seiji fails to notice, even as he frequently laments that he'll never find a girl who loves him.

The connection between Midori and Seiji appears to be between her waist, or near it, and his wrist, but it is never explicitly shown (he always wears long sleeves, and she usually wears a dress; the most shows the curve of her waist) nor explained. Midori's body seems to function normally; she sleeps, eats, and  her physiological needs are fulfilled using Seiji's excretory system. The series contains heavy fanservice with frontal nudity and several scenes of an ecchi or sexual nature.

still didn't win the lottery....today is cowboy bepop, The crew of the spaceship Bebop are a partnership of bounty hunters, called "cowboys", who travel the solar system trying to apprehend bounties. Jet Black is the owner of the Bebop, but has partnered with Spike for his diverse combat skills. Though he is reluctant to admit it, Jet has also come to rely on Spike for companionship in the normally solitary field of bounty hunting.

Most episodes revolve around attempts to bring in a specific bounty, but the show also examines the pasts of the main characters and more general past events, which are revealed and brought together as the series progresses. Some of the Bebop's varied targets include small time thugs, gangsters, hackers (known as "net divers" in slang), religious leaders, psychopaths, genetic experiments, mutant creatures and petty thieves.

honestly i never liked the show it just didn't do anything for me... 2.6/7

well its finally happened again... i am another year older...Today Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children Two years after the events of Final Fantasy VII, the survivors of Midgar have begun to build a new city, Edge, on the outskirts of the old metropolis. A strange disease known as "Geostigma" has arisen. After Cloud's showdown with Sephiroth, he has been living with Tifa in Edge. Marlene and an orphaned boy named Denzel have been entrusted to their care. After receiving a message from Tifa, Cloud is attacked by three men, Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo, who believe that he has hidden their "mother". The leader, Kadaj, ends the battle as he discovers that Cloud does not have their "mother". Cloud responds to a message from Tifa, who tells him that the Turks have a job for him. At the meeting place, Cloud discovers that Rufus Shinra is still alive. Rufus attempts to enlist Cloud's help to stop the trio, but fails as he refuses and leaves. Kadaj arrives and demands that Rufus tell him where to find his "mother". It is revealed that his "mother" is Jenova's remains, and is somehow connected to the cause of the Geostigma. The trio are planning a new "reunion" that will culminate in an assault on the Planet.

Loz arrives at Aerith's church in Midgar in an attempt to find Jenova's remains, and is confronted by Tifa. After battling Tifa, he receives instructions on his cell phone to capture Marlene. Kadaj and the gang begin collecting children infected with Geostigma, including Denzel and the uninfected Marlene, and take them to the Forgotten City. Cloud attempts to rescue them but fails, and is quickly defeated, and is then rescued by Vincent Valentine, who reveals to Cloud what the trio is seeking and that it could result in the return of Sephiroth. Cloud agrees to return to Edge and face Kadaj in battle. In Edge, the trio call forth several monsters to attack the populace, including the summon "Bahamut SIN". While Cloud's companions deal with Bahamut SIN, Reno and Rude try to take care of Yazoo and Loz until Cloud arrives. Cloud and his friends are able to dispatch the monsters and Bahamut SIN.

In a nearby building, Rufus reveals to Kadaj that he has been in possession of Jenova's remains all along. He throws the box containing it from the edge of the building. Kadaj dives after the remains and recovers them shortly after Rufus shoots the box and damaging its' contents. Kadaj spots Cloud in pursuit of him, and is followed to the ruins of Midgar. They battle each other in Aerith's lodge. Kadaj destroys the flowerbed, which releases an outflow of Lifestream-infused water that cures Cloud's Geostigma. Kadaj flees to the ruins of Shinra Headquarters, where they continue their fight. Outmatched, Kadaj absorbs Jenova's remains into his body, allowing Sephiroth to be reborn through the Remnant's body. Revealing that once those who die from the Geostigma return to the Lifestream, Sephiroth will be able to control it and use the Planet as a vessel to travel space in search of a new planet for him to rule. After a heated final battle, Cloud defeats Sephiroth as he dissipates with weakened Kadaj at Cloud's mercy. Aerith begins to pour healing rain across Edge, curing the people of their Geostigma. She tells Kadaj to be at rest, who believes her voice to be that of his "mother", and he is taken by the Lifestream. Cloud is then shot by Yazoo in the back. Also succumbing to the healing rain but bent on not going alone, Yazoo and Loz prepare one final blast at Cloud as he charges at them, resulting in a large explosion that engulfs all three.

Afterward, Cloud appears surrounded by a white light, and Aerith and Zack are heard. Aerith tells Cloud that his place is not with them yet, and sends him back. Cloud awakens in a pool of Lifestream-infused water in Aerith's lodge, surrounded by his friends and the citizens of Edge. After curing the Geostigma-infected children, he turns and sees Aerith crouching by some children. As she stands and walks to the doorway, she turns back and says that everything's all right now, and steps into a white light with Zack. Cloud watches them go, and says that he knows that he's not alone.

The anime OVA Puni Puni Poemiis a two-part original video animation spin-off from the Excel Saga comic and TV animation. It features some that series' secondary characters and many of its staff, primarily director Shinichi Watanabe. Like Excel Saga, it is a parody of other anime, manga and various aspects of popular culture, though in this case with the magical girl genre providing its primary focus and general structure. The series was originally an in-joke from an episode of Excel Saga; Watanabe decided to take the in-joke to its most extreme logical conclusion, creating the series.

so yesterday i was informed by my mechanic that the entire floor of my car is about ready to fall to the ground, like total Flintstones style.... so ... i have no car now... Lucky Star's story portrays the lives of several girls attending a Japanese high school named Ryōō with a very loose sense of humor. The setting is mainly based on the city of Kasukabe in Saitama Prefecture.[4] The main character is Konata Izumi, an athletic and intelligent, but also slightly mischievous and laid-back girl who, despite these attributes, is not in a sports club and has to resort to all-nighter cramming for tests. She would rather read manga and play video games than do her homework, which makes her a lazy character.

The serialization began with the four main characters in their first year of high school: Konata Izumi, Kagami Hiiragi, Tsukasa Hiiragi, and Miyuki Takara. As the story progresses, they move on to their second and third years. However, the anime starts the story with them beginning their second year, and the other high school girls that are seen in the opening are only introduced halfway through the series. The storyline usually includes numerous references to popular past and present manga and anime series.

today we go over one i have always thought a bit funny, He is My Master, A 14-year-old millionaire Yoshikata received a huge inheritance as a result of his parents' death in an accident. Later after firing the original maids, he needed to be looked after so he decided to hire new live-in maids. While originally expecting an elderly woman to take the job, two runaway girls, Izumi, 14, and Mitsuki, 13, end up accepting the job as means for a home and income. Another girl, Anna, later becomes a maid as well, and all three live in the mansion with Yoshitaka. The perverted Yoshitaka pulls some clichés throughout the story.

todaywe cover on e of my favorite games out there so far, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time trilogy

Passing through India en route to Azad, King Shahraman and his son, the Prince, conquer the Maharajah of India for honor and glory. After looting the city, they continue to Azad. In Azad, the Vizier of the Maharajah tricks the Prince into releasing the Sands of Time, using the Dagger of Time. The Sands infect everyone in the kingdom, turning them into monsters. The Prince, Farah, and the Vizier remain unchanged due to their possessions; a dagger, a medallion, and a staff, respectively. On a journey to repair the damage he has caused, the Prince teams with Farah to return the Sands of Time to the hourglass, using the Dagger of Time. As they make their way to the Hourglass of Time, the Prince hesitates, and the Vizier uses magic to throw him and Farah into a tomb. The Prince awakens, and the Dagger and his weapon have been stolen by Farah, who left him with her medallion so that he would not be affected by the Sands of Time. The Prince pursues and catches her, but she falls to her death. Driven by grief, the Prince stabs the top of the hourglass with the Dagger of Time, locking the Sands of Time back into the hourglass, reversing the events of the game. The Prince awakens prior to the invasion of the Maharaja's kingdom, and makes his way to Farah's bedroom. He tells her a story about the events of the game, as she does not remember, but the Vizier shows up, and fights the Prince. The Prince emerges victorious and gives the Dagger of Time back to Farah, then leaves India.

Seven years after the events of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, the Prince finds himself hunted by the Dahaka, the guardian of the time line. Because the Prince escaped his fate, the Dahaka tries to ensure that the Prince dies as he was meant to. Seeking counsel from an old wise man, the Prince learns of the existence of the Island of Time, where the Sands of Time were created, which was ruled by an Empress of Time. The Prince sets sail for the Island of Time to attempt to prevent the Sands of Time from being created, by traveling backwards through time. He believes that if there are no Sands of Time, the Dahaka will cease to exist as well. Exploring the island, the Prince saves a woman named Kaileena, from a woman named Shahdee, in the process traveling back through time using a portal. Unable to grant the Prince and audience with the Empress of Time, Kaileena reveals that activating two towers will unlock the throne room where the Empress hides. The Prince ultimately activates both towers, and returns to the throne room, only to learn that Kaileena is actually the Empress of Time. The Prince kills Kaileena, and returns to the present, believing that he has cheated fate, but soon discovers that when he killed Kaileena, the Sands of Time were created from her remains so, in essence, he created them. The Prince then discovers an artifact called the Mask of the Wraith, which is said to have the power to allow its wearer coexist in the same time line with his former self, as a Sand Wraith. The Prince wastes no time finding and donning the mask, transforming into a Sand Wraith. The Prince then makes his way back to the throne room, having an encounter with his other self, who is shortly thereafter killed by the Dahaka, allowing the Prince to remove the Mask of the Wraith. The Prince decides that killing Kaileena in the present, rather than the past, will cause the Sands of Time to be created, but they will not be found by the Maharajah, and thus, he will never have released them in Azad. The Prince forces Kaileena into the present, but plans change when the Dahaka appears. The Prince and Kaileena eventually defeat the Dahaka, who was attempting to kill Kaileena. They both then set sail for Babylon together.

Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones follows Prince of Persia: Warrior Within by a few weeks. Upon returning to Babylon, he is horrified to find the city is ravaged by war. His ship is attacked and he and Kaileena are thrown overboard, with Kaileena taken prisoner after drifting ashore. After fighting his way through the city, the Prince discovers that as a result of his efforts on the Island of Time to prevent the Sands of Time from being created, the events of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time never happened, thus, the Vizier was never killed. The Vizier now possesses the Dagger of Time, and his magical staff, as well. The Vizier is in search of the Empress of Time, Kaileena, and so has captured her. Just as the Prince finds Kaileena, the Vizier kills her and unleashes the Sands of Time. Then the Vizier transforms into an immortal being by impaling himself with the Dagger of Time, which now contains the Sands of Time. The released Sands of Time also strike the Prince, infecting an open wound on his arm and embedding the daggertail. The Prince breaks free of bondage, and escapes, grabbing the Dagger of Time in the process. As the Prince travels through the city once again to kill the Vizier, he encounters Farah, and the two decide to travel together. As the game progresses, the Prince finds that the Sands of Time have affected his mind. He has essentially been split into two personalities; one which, for the most part, strives to do good, although is fueled by vengeance; and the cruel Dark Prince, who is manifested by an internal voice that attempts to convince the Prince that they are the same person, and that the Prince should strive to serve only himself, using his vengeance as a catalyst for the Prince's emotions. As the game progresses, the Prince learns more about the nature of the Dark Prince, who is in fact, not a part of the Prince, just the manifestation of the Sands of Time trying to overcome him. When the Prince finally finds the Vizier, he is cast into a dried well, where the indwelling Dark Prince vies more aggressively for control. The Prince eventually finds the dead body of his father, who he had hoped to reconcile with, and faces his wrong actions. By accepting the consequences of what he has done, he silences the Dark Prince, seemingly in permanence. The Prince escapes the well, and once again confronts the Vizier, who he kills by impaling him with the Dagger of Time. Kaileena appears to the Prince and cleanses him of his infection by the Sands of Time, and all his wounds. As the Prince leans down to reach for his father's crown, he is confronted by the Dark Prince, who draws the Prince into his mind, where the two struggle for control. The Prince eventually realizes that fighting the Dark Prince will only intensify his anger, thus feeding the Dark Prince, so he decides to simply ignore the Dark Prince, who is eventually silenced, starved of anger and aggression. The Prince then awakens in Farah's embrace.

slept in the living room last night after i got awakened half a dozen times for"snoring" Vampire Knight Yuki Cross's earliest memory is of a snowy night in winter, when she was attacked by one vampire and was saved by another, Kaname Kuran. Yuki is the adopted daughter of the Headmaster of Cross Academy, Kaien Cross, who is an ex-vampire hunter that now wishes for vampires and humans to live alongside peacefully. She has grown up and become a prefect for the school with one main purpose: for vampires to coexist peacefully with humans. Her fellow guardian, Zero Kiryu, a childhood companion whose parents were killed by a pure-blood vampire, is now determined to kill them all and refuses to trust them. Zero himself is now manifesting vampire traits, having been turned into vampire after he was bitten by a pure-blood vampire, Shizuka Hio, four years before.

Yuki tries to help him fight his bloodlust while also seeking to recover the memories she lost. As the series progresses, Zero's thirst for blood leads to his drinking from Yuki, by her consent, to avoid becoming a level E vampire. To stop this, Kaname gives Zero his own blood, making him a normal vampire which will prevent Zero from going insane and from needing to feed from Yuki. Eventually, it is revealed that Yuki is a pureblood vampire herself, the sister and fiancee of Kaname. To save Yuki from being killed by Rido Kuran, Kaname's uncle, her mother had sealed her memories shortly before her own death. After Yuki reawakens to her vampire nature, Rido again tries to kill her. As Kaname kills the vampire senate, Yuki fights Rido. During a fierce battle, Zero aids her in killing him, but then aims his gun at her, stating he will kill all of the pureblood vampires.

Today we speak of Rozen Maiden , Jun Sakurada is a Junior High School student who refuses to go to school after being traumatized by an embarrassing experience there (see Hikikomori). He has taken to locking himself in his room, never leaving the house, and spends the day ordering goods online and returning them before the date in which he has to pay. His older sister, Nori Sakurada, does everything she can to brighten Jun's dreary existence, but is unable to change his situation.

One day, Jun receives a letter claiming he has won a prize. The letter asks him to choose "Yes" or "No". It states that after he has made his decision, he must place the letter in the drawer of his desk, and Holie will take it to the spirit world. Despite his skepticism, he follows these instructions, and discovers soon after that the envelope has vanished. Moments later, he realizes that a richly detailed wood case has materialized within his room. The box contains a strange realistic doll dressed in French aristocratic attire. Jun examines the doll from every angle before seeing the key and winding up the doll. The doll creaks, stands up on its own, then proceeds to slap him for handling her as crudely as he had. She introduces herself as, "...Shinku, the fifth doll of the Rozen Maiden."

Shinku is a doll from the unique "Rozen Maiden" collection, and before Jun can fully comprehend the weight of his new situation, a stuffed clown (bear in the manga) plush doll attacks. Shinku promises that she will save Jun's life, but only if he will vow to serve her. Thus, Jun becomes entrusted with the responsibility of protecting Shinku's "Rosa Mystica" whilst she is engaged in a centuries old fight with the other Rozen Maiden dolls for the title of "Alice."

This leaves Kotarou struggling to make it to school on time, cook his own meals, go shopping, and keep up with his studies. Yet, his so-called normal life has thrown him a curve ball in the form of a mysterious girl named Misha who has not only moved in next door to him, but has started to attend the very same middle school as him!

Out of loneliness and desperation, Misha decides to make it her life's work to chase after, "abuse", and latch on to Kotarou. But somehow, Kotarou adapts and life settles back down...that is, until another strange girl shows up. This time, it's Shia, a black haired girl. In the manga, the mere presence of Shia causes both Kotarou and Misha to receive pounding headaches amongst other supernatural side effects, however this doesn't occur in the anime.

Nonetheless, Shia's gentle demeanor and reserved personality manage to win the hearts of everyone, but Kotarou, and she ultimately moves in as Misha's new roommate.

today we speak of Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, Before the beginning of the storyline, Syaoran, the son of "Syaoran" and "Sakura", is sent into the shop of the Dimensional Witch, Yūko, by his parents because of a vision his mother had seen. Yūko sends him to Clow Country (The Country of the Eternal Tower) for seven days, where he arrives seven days before the birthday of that dimension's Sakura who looks like a younger version of his mother. Over the seven days, the two begin to fall in love with each other. On Syaoran's final day in Clow Country, the day of Sakura's birthday, Fei Wong Reed appears and, in spite of Syaoran's efforts to stop him, places a seal of death on Sakura that will eventually kill her. Syaoran tells Yūko that he chooses to remain in Clow Country at the price of never seeing his family and friends back in Japan again. He spends years searching for a way to remove the seal, but his searches are to no avail. When the seal is about to consume Sakura, Syaoran asks Yūko to turn time back to the day Fei Wong Reed placed the seal of death on Sakura in exchange for being Fei Wong Reed's prisoner until Syoaran reaches his current age.

today we cover a lsser known anime , i thought it had some possibilities, Battle Programmer Shirase ,The story of BPS revolves around a "freelance programmer" named Akira Shirase. He's a very talented, yet mysterious computer programmer. Because of his incredible abilities, he's contacted by several individuals (curiously, all of them are very similar persons named Akizuki Kaoru) to do all sorts of strange computer-related hacking/security jobs. He's a very quiet guy who lives alone in a small apartment near his niece's house. At first, the episodes revolved around some freelance jobs that highlighted his abilities - however, later on in the series, characters came back and offered help or plot twists. The school that Shirase had gone to had been hinted throughout the series, and it finally made an appearance in the last episode, when some of the characters began to show their hidden relationships to the others. However, the series was not continued.

today... we speak of Comic Party Early April, Kazuki Sendō is invited by his friend, Taishi Kuhonbutsu, to come with him to Tokyo Big Sight. He is surprised to see thousands of people waiting in line to get in. Apparently they're at Comic Party, a giant dōjinshi convention. Once inside, Kazuki meets some of the dōjinshi artists and is surprised to find himself enjoying their work. Taishi convinces Kazuki to draw dōjinshi after their visit because he recognizes Kazuki's skill as an artist, but Kazuki's childhood friend Mizuki tries to talk him out of it because she believes otakus are smelly, dirty, and disgusting. Her reasoning doesn't help because Kazuki already made up his mind and begins to draw his first dōjinshi.

( Dōjinshi, often transliterated as Doujinshi) are self-published Japanese works, usually manga or novels. They are often the work of amateurs, though some professional artists participate as a way to publish material outside the regular industry. )

i slept like crap last night... karma is back for me... today we talk about dominion tank police an oldie but goody, The Plot? Oh, right! I'm sure there's one in there somewhere... um. OK. In a possible future world, huge amounts of pollution has made the air unbreathable, and everyone must wear masks to avoid breathing toxic bacteria. Criminal activity has also risen to levels where the normal police are incapable of maintaining the peace. As an answer to this, the police of Newport City are equipped with tanks. Whilst this enables them to combat crime very effectively, their extreme methods do cause a lot of trouble for the city authorities.

However, a new gang appear, led by the mysterious cyborg Buaku. Equipped with weapons that even the Tank Police would flinch at, they soon turn Newport City into a warzone. However, they Tank Police are not going to take things lying down...
Well, things sort of diverge from there onwards, depending on whether you read the manga or watch the anime, but I'm sure you get the general idea.

i owed this when VHS was still the thing to have lol  i give it a 5.4/7

i slept on the couch last night and i slept better then i have in a long while, it was nice... Project A-ko is todays subject, little old school. The first Project A-ko movie is often considered the best of the series, and is known for its blend of action, screwball comedy, and satirical jabs at anime conventions.
The plot revolves around A-ko Magami, a red-haired teenage girl who just happens to be stronger and faster than anyone else alive. However, A-ko considers herself to be perfectly normal, and worries mostly about getting to school on time. Her best friend is C-ko Kotobuki, a bubbly, carefree, optimistic blonde. The two girls transfer to Graviton High School and catch the attention of B-ko Daitokuji, a brilliant but spoiled-rotten (and possibly psychotic) classmate with a knack for building mecha in no time flat.B-ko develops an unexpected crush on the innocent C-ko and is determined to get A-ko out of the picture at any cost. Her determination goes from being merely obsessive to homicidal when she realizes that she and A-ko were rivals back in kindergarten. B-ko creates a series of killer mecha to defeat A-ko before the morning bell rings. All of them are destroyed effortlessly by A-ko. In a final attempt at victory, B-ko makes the fight more personal by donning her infamous "Akagiyama-23" battlesuit and challenging A-ko to a duel, devastating the school and much of Graviton City in the process.

Meanwhile, Earth is being threatened by a massive spaceship piloted by a race of female aliens from the Lepton Kingdom of Alpha-Cygni, who have come to Earth to retrieve their long-lost princess. Oddly enough, the princess turns out to be none other than C-ko; she is kidnapped by an alien operative known as "D" in the middle of A-ko and B-ko's fight and taken aboard the spaceship.

A-ko and B-ko agree to put aside their differences long enough to rescue C-ko. They successfully infiltrate the spaceship, but, as soon as C-ko is found, B-ko reneges on her earlier truce and attacks A-ko, instigating a gunfight between herself and the alcoholic Captain Napolipolita. The spaceship's navigation system is damaged in the crossfire, causing it to crash into Graviton City. The girls, D, and the captain barely escape, crash-landing right into Graviton High.
The next morning, an exhausted A-ko wakes up for school. A brief glimpse of A-ko's parents is shown; they appear to be none other than American superheroes Superman and Wonder Woman, an apparent explanation for A-ko's superhuman abilities. C-ko joins A-ko, and the two girls walk to school, remarking on the alien spaceship that now dominates the skyline of Graviton City. As the credits begin to roll, there is a final glimpse of B-ko standing outside the school, smiling evilly.

went to fireworks last night in a city i kept hearing were great... i should of stayed home... Tenjho Tenge ...The plot begins with Souichiro Nagi and his friend Bob Makihara going to their first day of high school at Todo Academy. They had intended to rule the school by beating up anybody that got in their way, as they had done at their previous schools. They soon learn that Todo is no ordinary high school with ordinary students, but is a school that was founded to teach and integrate different fighting styles. Its students are skilled in the various arts of combat with some students possessing supernatural abilities, such as pyrokinesis, precognition, and superhuman strength based on the abilities to use their "spirit" or "ki" in Japanese. After an altercation with the Executive Council, Souichiro and Bob join the only surviving club that opposes them, the Juken club. As the storyline develops, both groups find they are becoming increasingly involved in a long enduring conflict that was left unresolved from the Japanese Feudal era by some of the characters' ancestors.

Murder Princess, The story begins with Dr. Akamashi, introduced as a scientist formerly in the employ of the government, launching a coup d’etat in the Forland kingdom. With his dying breath, the mortally wounded king sends his daughter Alita to find Prince Kaito, who is leading a diplomatic mission and its military escort abroad. She flees from the castle and reaches a forest on the country's border.

While running, the princess falls off of a cliff and onto Falis, an infamous female bounty hunter. Due to the nature of the near-death experience (referred to as a spiritual commutation) the souls of Alita and Falis are switched. After Falis dispatches the forest's guardian beast, Alita pleads with the bounty hunter to protect the Forland kingdom, offering herself, body and soul, as collateral. Falis agrees.

todays anime is a litle out there for some , i refer to I My Me! Strawberry Eggs story goes that Hibiki Amawa is an enthusiastic young man whose dream career is to become a professional teacher; having graduated from college with a certificate in athletics. When he is unable to pay his landlady, Lulu Sanjo, the monthly rent quota for his apartment, he rushes off to the nearby fictional Seito Sannomiya Private School to apply for an opening, but is stereotypically denied employment because of his sex. Offended yet tenacious, Hibiki vows to prove his worth, and with offered help from Lulu, agrees to cross-dress as a woman in order to deceive the school administration. His incredibly convincing transformation works, and following a demonstration of his educational merit, is hired.

Unfortunately for Hibiki, however, life at school does not go completely smooth. With interpersonal conflicts among students causing fights and simple oversights moderately exposing his identity, Hibiki must not only mediate his class, but also keep his disguise a secret as well.

Eureka Seven, known in Japan as Psalms of Planets Eureka Seven. The series centers around Renton Thurston, the fourteen-year-old son of Adroc Thurston, a military researcher who died saving the world. He lives what he considers a boring life with his grandfather in a boring town. He loves lifting, a sport similar to surfing but with trapar, a substance abundant throughout the air, as the medium. He dreams of joining the renegade group Gekkostate, led by his idol Holland, a legendary lifter.

An opportunity to do so practically falls into his lap when a large mechanical robot, called the Nirvash typeZERO, and Eureka, its pilot and a member of Gekkostate, crash into Renton's room. Renton's grandfather orders him to deliver a special part to the Nirvash called the "Amita Drive", which releases the immense power dormant within the typeZERO called the "Seven Swell Phenomenon". Afterwards, Renton is invited to join Gekkostate, where he quickly discovers that the behind-the-scenes life of Gekkostate is hardly as glamorous or as interesting as printed in the glossy pages of their magazine, ray=out. Only one thing makes it all worthwhile for him: the presence of Eureka, the mysterious pilot of the Nirvash. Renton, Eureka, and the Gekkostate embark on an adventure that will shape their future as well as the world's.

this anime... is a messed up one for sure, of course i am referring to Jungle De Ikou!, story goes Natsumi, an ordinary schoolgirl, has her life turned upside down when her archaeologist father gives her a statue that is actually the seal of Ongo, a demonic beast who promises to walk the earth if his statue is ever disrupted. Fortunately, Natsumi's dreams bring her a lucky charm to protect her, and, much to her surprise, a force awakens within her, transforming this schoolgirl into a voluptuous goddess!

i love this game... Onimusha, The story begins in 1560 with a battle between the forces of Yoshimoto Imagawa and Nobunaga of the Oda clan in a huge field. Historically, this is the battle of Okehazama. Samanosuke is seen overlooking the battlefield on top of a mountain when some Oda soldiers come to take his life. However, the soldiers are no match for Samanosuke's amazing swordsmanship and superior fighting skills. As victory seems imminent, Nobunaga laughs until a stray arrow pierces his throat. A year later Samanosuke receives a letter from his cousin Princess Yuki of the Saito clan. In the letter, Yuki says that maids and servants have been disappearing and she suspects monsters to be the culprit. She also request that Samanosuke saves her from the castle before she ends up as one of the victims. Samanosuke and Kaede arrive at the castle too late to rescue Yuki. The player then sees an army of soldiers marching with a pale but living Nobunaga leading them.

Samanosuke and Kaede split up and head to the keep. After a little ways, Samanosuke finds two ninja genma and an unconscious Princess Yuki. Samanosuke is unable to defeat them before they escape. As Samanosuke and Yuki have a brief reunion, a gigantic club wielding genma named Osric emerges from the ground. Samanosuke attempts to defend Yuki, but is easily dispatched and sent flying against the wall. As he lies unconscious, he is visited by 12 gods of the Oni clan. They give Samanosuke the power to destroy the genma and absorb their souls with a mystical gauntlet. As he enters a cave, he finds the thunder orb and the Raizan. As he finds the entrance to the keep, he realizes it is sealed and he doesn't have the power to open it. In a dry moat, he finds and kills Osric. As it dies, it destroys a part of the wall which leads to a hallway. In the room at the end, is a laboratory and a genma scientist named Guildenstern operating on a human. Guildenstern reveals that he resurrected Nobunaga and that he made a pact swearing his allegiance to the genma. Guildenstern then escapes and sends a creature called a Reynaldo against Samanosuke. He defeats it and obtains the fire orb and the Enryuu in the laboratory. With the means to enter the keep now, he goes inside to find the entire place a derelict. Within the keep he encounters a man named Tokichiro Kinoshita wrestling with a small boy. After the boy escapes, Tokichiro states that he is a servant of the Oda clan and wonders if Samanosuke would be interested in joining. Samanosuke refuses, saying that he controls his own life. Tokichiro says he will not give up and leaves the room laughing. As he moves on, Samanosuke sees Kaede chasing the young boy. Samanosuke only learns his name is Yumemaru before he escapes again and Kaede goes after him. Kaede later learns that he is an orphan and Yuki has raised him like a brother.

In May 2003, Paramount Pictures, Davis Films, and Gaga Productions announced its joint venture to adapt the action-adventure game series into a $50 million live-action feature film. According to Paramount Pictures and Davis Films' Samuel Hadida, "It's samurai fighting against demons – it's very close to this simple pitch. There's also a love story woven in. It's a big adventure movie with lots of special effects." Hadida also proposed the possibility of a film franchise. In December 2006, director Christophe Gans said that he had Onimusha lined up to film. The film, budgeted at over $70 million, was to begin production in China in February 2008 for a December 2009 release. In a June Article by movie site Ain't It Cool News, it was revealed that Takeshi Kaneshiro will be in the movie, reprising his role as Samanosuke.
The Onimusha film has been put on indefinite hold due to the death of Heath Ledger, which impacted on the schedule of producer Samuel Hadida, who was due to work with Ledger on the said movie. Ledger was cast to play Roberto, the Spaniard from Dawn of Dreams. Because of his death, Hadida has yet to find a new actor and has put the movie on hiatus. Because of this, Hadida had to delay the filming of Onimusha, which has resulted in the film's Japanese cast working on other film projects during the delay, and being unavailable to start filming Onimusha. These factors were enough that French director Christophe Gans will now direct an adaptation of Leo Perutz's novel "The Swedish Cavalier" first, taking over the reigns from Gilles Mimouni. Satomi Ishihara and Tsuyoshi Ihara remain attached to the project.

"In a March 2009 interview with Chris Kramer, Capcom's Senior Director of Corporate Communications, it was revealed that the film finished shooting in Asia a few months ago."

today... we cover one of my favorite games ever... there is just something awesome about  God of War The game begins with the main character, Kratos, committing suicide by jumping off a cliff into the Aegean Sea. As he plummets to the rocks below, the game's story is told through a series of flashbacks. The story of God of War revolves around Kratos, a former captain in the Spartan army who sets out to kill Ares, the god of war. It is the goddess Athena who requests him to destroy Ares, as his army is attacking her patron city Athens. But since Zeus had previously forbidden the gods from directly declaring war against each other, only a mortal can stop Ares. Kratos however, is already motivated by revenge; as the game progresses, Kratos' backstory is gradually explained, revealing that he had formerly been a murderous servant of Ares and had received from him his weapons, the Blades of Chaos (which, along with Kratos' recurrent nightmares, continue throughout the story to serve as a reminder of his past), but had renounced his service to him after the god tricked him into killing his own family. The game starts on a ship, beached on rocks in the Aegean Sea under siege from the Hydra. Kratos defends the ship from several of the undead, while simultaneously fighting the many heads of the Hydra. After arriving at Athens by ship, and fighting through it, Kratos learns from the city's oracle that the only way to defeat Ares is to use the legendary Pandora's Box, which can give any mortal the power to kill a god. However, the Oracle explains that the Box is hidden within the Temple of Pandora, carried on the back of the last living Titan, Cronos, who has been commanded by Zeus to endlessly wander the Desert of Lost Souls as punishment for his past actions. Kratos travels to the Desert to find Cronos, and upon doing so, gains entrance to the Temple after scaling the Titan's back.Much of the game takes place within the Temple, inside of which Kratos must solve numerous puzzles and overcome hordes of hostile creatures to reach Pandora's Box. Ultimately he retrieves the magical artifact, but as he does so, Ares learns of his success and kills him. After doing so, Ares sends harpies to claim the Box for himself. Kratos meanwhile, falls into the Underworld, but he manages to fight his way back into the world of the living. After escaping from the Underworld, Kratos recovers Pandora's Box from Ares (who threatens to usurp the other gods of Olympus), and opens it. The powers unleashed cause him to grow until he is the same size as Ares, and the two engage one another in battle. When Kratos has the upper hand, Ares traps him in an alternate dimension in which he is seemingly reunited with his family, but is forced to defend them against clones of himself. After saving them, Ares strips Kratos of his Blades of Chaos (and the magical powers he had acquired during his journey), and uses the Blades to kill his family. A distraught Kratos is returned to the battleground and, after finding the ancient Blade of the Gods nearby, succeeds in finally defeating and destroying Ares.

Despite his victory, Kratos is informed by Athena that the gods cannot rid him of his frequent nightmares of the past (since none can forget his atrocities), and had only promised to forgive him for his sins. Thinking all his troubles have been in vain, Kratos attempts to commit suicide by throwing himself off a cliff, bringing the story back to the beginning of the game. Athena, however, intervenes and takes him to Mount Olympus where, because of his services to the gods, he is offered to become the new god of war. Kratos' magical abilities are restored, and he is given new weapons, the Blades of Athena.

this game gets a Solid 7/7  Perfect!!

its tuesday... taco's are cheap today, Hanaukyo Maid Team is about a young boy, Taro Hanaukyo, who has inherited a vast family fortune and, more importantly, the hundreds of employees working at the family mansion. While dressed and referred to nominally as 'maids', there are discrete albeit sometimes unusual departments for most of the employees (including Defence, Science, Catering, etc.). Presumably the various extensive projects in the house pay for most of its expenses.

The original anime, which aired as part of the omnibus program Anime Complex, was cut short when the series ran into production issues. Continuity was later rebooted for the new series Hanaukyo Maid Team - La Verite (Hanaukyō Maid Tai - La Verite in Japan). Many of the early episodes mirror each other closely, with some variations. Both anime versions use the same voice actors.

The English La Verite anime is licensed by Geneon in North America. Studio Ironcat licensed the manga in North America; Ironcat as of 2005 went out of business having only released the first three volumes of the manga in English. There are currently no plans for another company to pick up the license and release the remaining volumes.

i've watched it , i thought it was funny, they usual slapstick /girls all over the main star :-D

yay Death Note my sister is a freak for this show, Light Yagami is an extremely intelligent young man who resents what appears to be a relentless increase of crime and corruption in the world around him. His life undergoes a drastic change when he discovers a mysterious notebook, known as the "Death Note," lying on the ground. The Death Note's instructions claim that if a human's name is written within it, that person shall die. Light is initially skeptical of the notebook's authenticity, but after experimenting with it, he realizes that the Death Note is real. After meeting with the previous owner of the Death Note, a shinigami named Ryuk, Light seeks to become "the God of the New World" by passing his keen judgment on those he deems to be evil or who get in his way.

Soon, the number of inexplicable deaths of reported criminals catches the attention of the International Police Organization and a mysterious detective known only as "L". L quickly learns that the serial killer, dubbed by the public as "Kira" (キラ?, derived from the typical Japanese pronunciation of the English word "killer"), is located in Japan. He also concludes that Kira can kill people without laying a finger on them. Light realizes that L will be his greatest nemesis, and a game of psychological cat and mouse between the two begins.

Death Note is also now a series of two live-action Japanese films released in 2006 and based on the Death Note manga and anime series . The films primarily center on a university student who decides to rid the world of evil with the help of a supernatural notebook that kills anyone whose name is written in it.

June 21st,2009 Fathers Day

The Melody of Oblivion is a series rife with cultural references. Everything from Zen Archery and Bushido to the Bible's Book of Revelation, stories of Greek Mythology, and images from The Garden of Forking Paths can be seen in the series. Melody of Oblivion's premise is that in the 20th century, humanity waged and lost a war against beings known only as the Monsters. In the 21st century, the Monsters rule the earth, but they have reconstructed society such that virtually no one born after the war ended is aware that it ever happened. Children are disappearing mysteriously. Only the Warriors of Melos are still fighting against the Monsters. The series focuses on Bocca, a teenager who chooses the path of the Warrior. In doing so, he gains the power to fight back at the horrors he sees, but it costs him his place in society.

Melos Warriors are the only ones who can see the ephemeral "Melody", personified as a girl who appears at important times and shows emotion but does not speak. The Melos, as they are also referred to, fight primarily with bows and arrows infused with the energies of their spirit (seemingly described in Italian words and phrases used in musical notation). The visible marks (Sacred Scars) that they employ in this infusion process appear as tattoos on their person.

The Melos Warriors are aided by devices called Aibar machines (could also be transliterated as Aiba-Machine), which are essentially futuristic motorcycles with many additional capabilities. ('Aiba' or 'Aibar' are transliterations for a word in Japanese meaning 'Favorite Horse.') The process of bonding a Warrior of Melos and an Aibar machine involves a symbolic naming of the bike by the one who is to ride it. Thereafter, the Aibar machine follows voice commands. All Aibar machines are at least minimally sentient, while some possess fully human-like intelligence. As such, they can function mostly or completely independently of their drivers when need be.Opposing the Melos Warriors are the Monsters themselves and their human lackeys, the Monster Union. The former are always shown as normal looking human beings, however this is not what they truly look like. If a normal person (one who is not a Melos Warrior) looks at their true form, they will automatically transmogrify into a bizarre object (such as stone statues or puppets, but varying with whatever monster is being viewed.) It should also be noted that all the monsters mirror creatures of Greek Mythology, such as Horu, the first monster featured, who is referred to by Kurofune as a "disgusting cow" and is said to have been sealed in a labyrinth. This, along with the fact that a pair of bull horns and legs manifest when he is around, implies he is the legendary Minotaur. Several other featured monsters are Medusa, Hecate, Talos, and Pan. All monsters seem to have some control over reality itself and can only be killed by Melos Arrows.

the Show was good i liked it ,  you should try it 5.9/7

luckily i am getting to be more of a morning person even though focusing at the crack of dawn seems hard, i degrease.. today we talk about Shuffle!  The basic storyline of Shuffle! follows the romantic life of Rin Tsuchimi, a normal human, Japanese high schooler, who finds himself being sought after by a variety of girls. The world of Shuffle! consists of humans living in harmony with gods, resembling humans with slightly pointed ears and devils[5], who have more prominent pointed ears. Despite their respective positive and negative connotations, both races are equally kind and good-natured. Rin soon finds himself as the potential marriage candidate for both Lisianthus and Nerine, the two daughters of the kings of the god and devil worlds who recently transferred to Rin's school. In addition to them, he is also liked by his childhood friend Kaede, his senior Asa, and the mysterious, reserved Primula. Through the course of the game, Rin will end up with one of those five girls and fall into mutual love.

our main males name is Kaoru Hanabishi he is an average university student, but in actually, he's the eldest son of Yūji Hanabishi, the head of the Hanabishi Zaibatsu, and was sopposed to  take over after his father "retired". His mother and his father never married, making life difficult for both him and his mother.Kaoru never felt at home in the Hanabishi family and left to live by himself after his mother died. Day by day he felt alone, thinking there was no purpose in life.

the main female character Aoi Sakuraba. Aoi is an only child, Kaoru's family and Aoi's family had agreed for Kaoru to wed Aoi, but after Kaoru walked out, the marriage was canceled.  Aoi has been in love with Kaoru from the start, which Kaoru was unaware of.

May 16th 2009

today we will be covering one of my favorite web cmoics, MegaTokyo.

the basic story line here is Piro (pee-ro) and Largo, two American gamers, travel to Tokyo on a  half way drunkin whim and find they can't afford tickets back home. They hook up with Piro's friend Tsubasa and move in with him in his tiny apartment. Piro's conscience Seraphim, who is trying to help Piro work through his personal issues, is sent an assistant to take charge of Largo - a wing wearing hamster named Boo.

i have followed this comic for a long while, sine the begining , i think it is work reading, as of current it has been published to manga, one of the first american drawn manga to print

i give this a 6.5/7 read it.  www.megatokyo.com

May 17th 2009, Trog Dor...!!!

Strong Bad is one of the major (and personally i think one fo the best ) characters of the Homestar Runner website series of animated web cartoons. Strong Bad enjoys messing with the other characters of the series such as  "The Cheat" and his older brother Strong Mad. the comic is mainly about him answering his emails on his old comupter, they are actually pretty funny, i say look them all over

http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail.html

i give strongbad emails a 6.1/7  check it out

today we cover " Karin " also known as chibi vampire; the basic story line is that there is a cute young vampire girl who is a "reverse vampire who instead of stealing the blood from her victums  she produces to much blood and injects it into them, as a side effect the people she bites feel like life is freaking awesome  kinda like a prozac mega pill minus the side effect of  hanging yourself. there ofcourse is a male main lead wgo everyone thinks looks scary cuz his eyes are small  but he is actually a pretty nice guy , its a usual story but pretty good , kept my attention.

i give it a 5/7 you should take a look and watch it if ya remember

May 19th, 2009

today we are going to cover an anime i liked enough to actually buy it, it is called Vandread this anime is set in a universe where men and women are completely segregated ( totally different plants in the universe, men believe women are horrid beasts that attacka nd kill with warning (can be true)and women believe men are useless cavemen(some what true in some areas as well) ),

Male lead is named Hibiki who takes a bet to steal a high-tech humanoid robot, known as the Vanguard, from the male millitary. Caught on board of the battleship when it takes off, it is suddenly attacked and most all men evacuate. Stuck on board and held as prisoners of female pirates things go pretty funny and naturally most of the main women start to like him... its a good show

i give it a 5.4/7

a modern classic to most anyone out there, today we cover Fullmetal Alchemist pretty mucht he only way you havent heard anything bout this show is mostly likely you have been living with the amish or something along the like. our basic story goes that Edward and Alphonse Elric are two alchemist brothers searching for the Philosopher's Stone, a powerful object which would allow them to reclaim the body parts that each of them have lost( in La's case, his whole body) which were lost in an attempt to bring their mother back to life through alchemy. Their father, Hohenheim, leaves home for unknown reasons and years later, their mother, Trisha Elric, dies of a terminal illness leaving the Elric brothers alone. After their mother's death, Edward becomes determined to bring her back through the use of alchemy, an advanced science in which objects can be created from raw materials. They research Human Transmutation, a forbidden art in which one attempts to create or modify a human being. However, thier attempt fails, resulting in the loss of Edward's left leg and Alphonse's entire body. In a desperate effort to save his brother, Edward sacrifices his right arm to affix Alphonse's soul to a suit of armor.  After that, Edward's left leg and right arm are replaced with automail, a type of advanced prosthetic limb, created for him by his close family friends Winry Rockbell and her grandmother .

i give this a 6.6/7

May 24th, 2009

today we cover honestly one of my favorites, just the mass of abuse this kid gets is amazingly funny , of course i am talking about Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan. the basic plot of this anime is  the story of Sakura Kusakabe, a second-year junior high school student who, twenty years in the future, while attempting to create a "Pedophile's World" forces all the women of the world  to stop aging at the age of twelve, witch offends God by the side effect of having created immortality. Dokuro is a member of an angel assassins group and has been sent from the future to kill him. Believing that Sakura can be redeemed, Dokuro decides instead to keep Sakura so occupied that he can never build the immortality tech. Due to her impulsive nature and super-human strength, she frequently kills him with her gigantic spiked club, Excaliborg, on a moment's impulse, but returns him to life moments later with angelic magic. Sabato, another assassin who uses her feminine wiles to do her job, is sent to complete Dokuro's original mission: Sakura's assassination. it is freaking funny, think excel saga type

i give this one a 6/7  Watch  it!!

ah the classic love story with some comedy some times nothing better for the mood, today we cover Oh my Goddess the basic story is this guy named Keiichi is good-natured, yet hapless and womanless college freshman who is often imposed upon by his older dorm-mates and forced into taking phone messages and doing chores for them. One day, while alone in his room, he accidentally calls the G.T.H.L. (Goddess Technical Help Line) and a beautiful goddess named Belldandy materializes through a mirrior in his room. She tells him that her agency has received a system request from him, so she has been sent to grant him a single wish. thinking someone is playing a practical joke on him, he wishes that she stay with him forever. To his surprise, his wish is granted. As such Belldandy must live with him, but as his dormitory being strictly male-only, they are both forced onto the street.

ahh... what to say about Soul Eater, well personally i think they cut this series way to soon at 51 episodes, had tons more potential TONS!!  but i digress, in Soul Eater, meister Maka and her weapon partner Soul Eater are students at the Shinigami Weapon Meister Vocational School, or Shibusen for short, located in the fictional Death City. The school has many other students including Black Star with his weapon partner Tsubaki, and Death the Kid with his twin weapon partners Liz and Patti. The school is run by Shinigami, the God of Death himself, Maka's goal, along the other meisters, is to have their weapons defeat and absorb the souls of ninety-nine evil humans and one witch, which will dramatically increase the power of the given weapon and thus be capable of being used by shinigami; these weapons are called Death Scythes.

6.6/7  you should watch it

May 29th, 2009

i would think most everyone out there has heard of Gundam Wing (mobile suit gundam wing) giant robots and troubled teen pilots... always teens driving these things ever wonder why? well the story basically goes, Gundam Wing begins with the start of "Operation: Meteor," the scientists' plan for revenge against the OZ military organization. The mission involves five young boys who have each been chosen and trained by one of the five rogue scientists, then sent to Earth independently in extremely advanced mobile suits gundams, one designed by each of the scientists. Their mobile suits are called Gundams because they are constructed from a rare and astonishingly durable material known as Gundanium alloy, which can only be created in outer space naturally.

Noelle and her entire family proceed to move into Yuusuke's tiny home, replacing it with a huge plastic-looking castle, and disrupt his life. Silky and her minions interfere as the series goes on.

The only school he is finally accepted into turns out to be a secret school for supernatural monsters and mythical creatures, who are disguised as humans. The first student he meets is the beautiful Moka, who becomes his friend for an unusual reason; not only she is a vampire attracted to the sweet taste of his blood, but because Tsukune was Moka's first real friend she had ever made. i always that Ranma 1/2 was funny its just really complicated to explain.the story starts on a training journey in the Bayankala Mountain Range in the Qinghai Province of China, Ranma  and his father Genma fall into the cursed springs at Jusenkyo. When someone falls into a cursed spring, they take the physical form of whatever drowned there hundreds or thousands of years ago whenever they come into contact with cold water. The curse will revert when exposed to hot water until their next cold water exposure. Genma fell into the Spring of the Drowned Panda while Ranma fell into the Spring of the Drowned Girl.

Upon returning to Japan, the pair settle in the dojo of Genma's old friend Tendo, a fellow practitioner of "Anything-Goes" martial arts which Genma passed on to Ranma. Genma and Tendo agreed years ago that their children would marry and carry on the Tendo Dojo. Tendo has three teenaged daughters: Kasumi, Nabiki and the hot-tempered, but helpful, martial arts practicing Akane. As Akane is Ranma's age she is appointed for bridal duty by her sisters. Their reasoning is that Akane dislikes men, and that Ranma is only a man half of the time; therefore, they are perfect together. Although both initially refuse the engagement having not been consulted on the decision, they are generally treated as betrothed and end up helping or saving each other on numerous occasions. They are frequently found in each other's company and are constantly arguing in their trademark awkward love-hate manner that is a franchise focus.there are alot more characters and story if you wanna find out more got to look it up

its a good show seriously 6.3/7

June 4th, 2009

now i will admit that i was a big fan like everyone else for a long time of this one... till one day it suddenly appeared to me that the whole show is just an endless repeat just different characters are in it . i am talking about Dragonball (counting Z, GT) big evil would show up that apperantly allt he higher ups knew about but no one told the hero about shows up beats the hero like a 4 yr old at k-mart then he is saved and some how gets all super strong by some how, beats the evil then some time passes and repeat.not to mention the fact that each episode of a half hour actually only covers about 5 mins of real time but here is the story, A monkey-tailed boy named Goku is found by an old martial arts expert who raises him as his grandson. One day Goku meets a girl named Bulma and together they go on a quest to retrieve the seven Dragon Balls, mythical objects that can summon a dragon who will grant any wish. Along the way, they meet and befriend a plethora of martial artists. They also undergo rigorous training  and educational programs in order to fight in the World Martial Arts Tournament, a tournament in which the most powerful fighters in the world compete. Outside the tournaments, Goku faces diverse villains such as Emperor Pilaf, the Red Ribbon Army, a demon known as Piccolo Daimao and his offspring.

if you forget about the repeat of evil aspect i still give it a 5/7

June 5th,2009

in this anime "Ikki Tousen" or Battle Vixens the story goes,Seven schools in the district of Kanto are constantly at war with each other and the students within — both male and female — have become skilled fighters and constantly battle with rival schools. Their lives are guided by strange jewels, called Magatama, that contain the spirits and destinies of warriors from the Three Kingdoms period of China, and also change color according to the ranking of its bearer. The ultimate purpose of each of these high-school fighters, known as toshi is to become stronger than all others and ascend to become the Ikkitōsen — translated means "one rider who is the match of a thousand". The destinies of those who wear the magatama, have repeatedly reincarnated time and time again for the past eighteen centuries without fail and the carnage is immense each time around. One girl, Hakufu, recently moved to Tokyo and is apparently destined to unite the schools, just as her counterpart united seven countries long ago.

its a big tease with alot fo fighting 5.2/7

June 6th,2009

this show wasn't bad, i liked most of it  i am talking about Genesis of Aquarion or ( Age of Aquarion ) story is Eleven years before the start of the series, a disaster only referred to as the "Great Catastrophe" destroyed significant parts of the world and killed off many of its inhabitants. Along with the disaster came the appearance of the Shadow Angels, winged-beings who have been in slumber for twelve thousand years in their city of Atlandia. The Shadow Angels harvest humans on Earth, dubbed the "wingless ones", like cattle, extracting their prana (life force) from them, serving as energy and nutrition to the Shadow Angels, but also to feed the legendary Tree of Life. The Shadow Angels facilitate their harvesting via giant, floating harvesting machines guarded by giant golem-like creatures called Cherubim Soldiers. How these are normally piloted is unknown, yet there are times when they are piloted by Shadow Angels.

Ordinary weapons prove ineffective against the Cherubim, but a human expedition under the leadership of Gen Fudou eventually excavates three very technologically advanced fighter planes. Gen Fudou disappears, but an organization called Deava takes over the research of these machines, called Vectors, trying to find out how to use them. The three Vectors are the Vector Luna, the Vector Mars and the Vector Sol. Deava discovers only people who are Element users can control the Vectors and, ultimately, unite the three to form the giant fighting machine Aquarion.

During the first sortie to fight a Cherubim, Deava encounters 15 year-old Apollo, who seems to be the reincarnation of the hero Apollonius, also known as the "Solar Wing", who betrayed his Shadow Angel brethren for his love of the human warrior Celiane.

this gets a 6/7

Code Geass, Code Geass R2 , they were an interesting series. The series is set after Japan's conquest by the Holy Britannian Empire on August 10, 2010.  With their powerful new robot weapons, the Knightmare Frames, stripping Japan and its citizens of all rights and freedoms and renaming the country Area 11. The main character Lelouch is a Britannian prince who gave up his right to the throne after his mother was murdered, and has vowed to destroy his father, the Emperor, and Britannia. He gains the ability through the mysterious power of the Geass, becoming the leader of the resistance movement to fulfill his two wishes: to seek revenge for his mother and to construct a world in which his beloved sister Nunnally can live happily.

Her father wants her to return to her home planet so she can marry one of the husband candidates. But she decides that she wants to marry Rito in order to stay on Earth. Commander Zastin has been ordered to bring Lala back and has already battled Rito. Lala truly falls in love with Rito and decides that she wants to marry Rito after hearing what he said. Her father decides that, if Rito is able to protect Lala from her fiancés, then he can marry her, but if Rito cannot protect Lala from her other fiancés and meet the king's expectations, Lala's father will kill Rito and destroy the Earth. yay fun

this one was interesting The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya,The story revolves around Haruhi Suzumiya, a high school girl obsessed with finding all forms of the extraordinary and supernatural, and Kyon, a cynical classmate who proclaims his non-belief in such matters and narrates the series. After being displeased with the mundane happenings at school and the lack of interesting after-school clubs, she forms her own, the SOS Brigade, to investigate any mysterious happenings, with Kyon forcibly drafted as its second member.

As the series progress, Haruhi recruits three additional members into her club: the silent bibliophile Yuki Nagato, the shy and timid Mikuru Asahina, and the friendly "mysterious exchange student" Itsuki Koizumi. These members are, in time, revealed to be the extraordinary characters she is seeking (Yuki, an artificial human created by the extraterrestrial Integrated Data Entity; Mikuru, a time traveler; and Itsuki, an esper), sent by their various organizations to observe Haruhi. All see Haruhi as possessing a superhuman control over the universe, capable even of recreating the entire universe in a state of dissatisfaction and attempt to prevent this by keeping her entertained, holding her powers in check, and maintaining the illusion of a normal life.

was good, pretty much 5.7/7

Today , some one dropped the Bleach :-)The story starts with the sudden appearance of Soul Reaper Rukia in Ichigo bedroom. She is surprised at his ability to see her, but their conversation is interrupted by the appearance of a "hollow", an evil spirit. After Rukia is severely wounded while trying to protect Ichigo, she attempts to transfer half her powers to Ichigo in order to let him face the hollow on equal footing. Ichigo unintentionally absorbs almost all her energy, allowing him to defeat the hollow with ease. The next day Rukia appears in Ichigo's classroom as a seemingly normal human, and informs Ichigo that his absorption of her powers has left her stranded in the human world until she recovers her strength. In the meantime Ichigo shelters Rukia in his home and takes over her job as a Soul Reaper, battling hollows and guiding lost souls to the afterlife realm known as Soul Society.

Gurren Lagann takes place in a future in which human beings have been forced under Earth's surface and live in isolated subterranean civilizations. These "villages" have no contact with the surface world or other villages. Because frequent earthquakes damage infrastructure, the villages must constantly extend deeper into the earth — individuals relegated to this task are known as "diggers".Giha Village is the home of Simon, a fourteen-year-old digger who was orphaned when his parents were killed in an earthquake. Although Simon is respected by the village elders as the best of the diggers, he is ostracized by his peers. Simon discovers a special drill key deep in the ground and is soon recruited by an eccentric fellow orphan named Kamina into his group the "Gurren Brigade". Kamina dreams of the surface world, which he once visited as a child, though he had to return home as he was too young to survive there.
After a failed attempt at reaching the surface, Kamina is jailed by the village elder. Simon resumes digging, only to discover "a big face" deep in his tunnel. As he excitedly fetches Kamina to show him the discovery, Simon is also caught by the village elder. Fortuitously, Kamina's punishment is interrupted by the collapse of the ceiling over Giha Village, as an enormous robot falls into the cavern. A girl named Yoko appears and tries to defeat the machine with a large rifle, but to no avail. Simon takes Kamina and Yoko to the "big face" he found earlier and discovers that the small drill key can be used to activate a small robot, named "Lagann", which he uses to destroy the invading robot and effectively break through to the surface.

personally i liked this anime i watched the first season and have the second season on my list of others to watch , i would be talking about Girls! Bravo.story goes - Small for his age, Yukinari has been bullied and abused by girls all his life. Now in high school, he has developed a rare condition: whenever girls touch him, or even come close, he breaks out in hives. Imagine his surprise, when he is suddenly transported to the city of Seiren on a mystic world invisibly orbiting the Earth, and populated with vast numbers of women and very few men. Fortunately, he has a new friend, Miharu-chan, whose touch inexplicably doesn't affect him.

ahh a classic  Naruto Uzumaki is a young boy who has the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox sealed within him. Twelve years before the start of the series, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox attacked the ninja village Konohagakure, slaughtering many people. In response, the leader of Konohagakure – the Fourth Hokage – sacrificed his life to seal the demon inside Naruto when he was a newborn. Konohagakure, however, regarded Naruto as if he were the demon fox itself and mistreated him throughout most of his childhood. A decree made by the Third Hokage forbade anyone mention the attack of the demon fox to anyone. Years later, Naruto was tricked by the renegade ninja Mizuki into stealing a forbidden scroll, but was stopped by his teacher, Iruka Umino. That encounter made Naruto realize he was the container of the demon fox.

The main story follows Naruto and his friends' personal growth. Naruto befriends two comrades, Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno, who are assigned with him to form a three-person team under an experienced sensei named Kakashi Hatake. Naruto also befriends other characters that he meets throughout the series. They learn new abilities, get to know each other and other villagers better, and experience a coming-of-age journey as Naruto dreams of becoming the Hokage of Konohagakure. At first, emphasis is placed on Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura, who are the members of Team 7. Later, Orochimaru, a criminal at the top of Konohagakure's most wanted list, attacks Konoha killing the Third Hokage as an act of revenge. This causes one of the three legendary ninja, Jiraiya to search for his partner Tsunade, to become the Fifth Hokage. During that search, it is revealed that Orochimaru also desires to acquire Sasuke Uchiha due to his powerful genetic heritage. Believing Orochimaru will be able to give him the strength needed to kill his brother Itachi, who destroyed all his clan, Sasuke goes to him. Naruto does not give up on Sasuke, leaving Konoha for two-and-a-half years of training to prepare himself for the next time he meets Sasuke.

Naruto: Shippuden is the ongoing sequel to the original Naruto anime and covers the Naruto manga from volume twenty-eight on. After training for two and a half years with Jiraiya, Naruto returns to Konohagakure, reunites with the friends he left behind, and reforms Team 7, now called Team Kakashi, with Sai replacing Sasuke. All of Naruto's classmates have matured and improved in the ranks. Unlike the original series where they only played a minor role, the Akatsuki organization takes on the main antagonistic role in their attempts at world domination.

6.7/7
