Bakugan New Vestroia: The Resistance

With the third season of Bakugan well underway, we have finally met all 6 characters of the Bakugan Resistance. After Dan and Drago saved Vestroia, Drago went on to become the infinity core and unite the seperate parts of the Bakugan universe into New Vestroia. For the first time in eons, all the Bakugan lived happily and peacefully. But all did not remain peaceful. The same dimension rip that occured on Earth also occured on the Vestal people's homeworld.

The Vestals are a highly advanced race who were facing overpopulation problems on their homeworld. This New Vestroia presented the perfect opportunity to fix their problems, and they left to inhabit the Bakugan's world. They went on to enslave the Bakugan and they now make them battle for pleasure, not realizing that they are playing with sentient creatures.

The Resistance is a group of Vestals and Humans who have dedicated themselves to destroying the Bakugan. Their current goal is do destroy all three dimension controlers that hold the Bakugan as slaves.

Dan is of course the leader of the Bakugan Battle Brawlers on Earth. He's just 12 years old, but he's got intensity and passion. He loves Bakugan and brawling more than anything else. Dan is more street smart than book smart, and he often heads off headlong into adventures and mishaps. A pyrus brawler, Dan and Drago are as fiery as their attribute.

Quick to react and adapt, Dan is a good leader, though he does have a quick temper. His Bakugan and best friend is Drago who left the infinity core to save Vestroia once again. Drago is not as powerful as he once was, he had to leave a piece of himself behind to maintain the infinity core, but even so he is a force to be reckoned with. Dan's trap bakugan is Scorpion, and he uses the two to make some deadly combos.

Marucho followed Dan into the New Vestroia universe. Even though Dan and Drago tried to give him the slip, he was too smart and followed through the portal. Marucho is an Aquos brawler, and as such he is very wise and his strengths lie in his ability to plan ahead. He's just eleven years old but he is very wise and smart beyond his years. His friends call him a walking encyclopedia from all the studies and knowledge he has taken in. As the son of a millionare Marucho is used to the finer things in life and can be a little spoiled at times.

Marucho is always studying the underlying strategy of Bakugan brawling and thinking up new ways to win a brawl through strategy and in depth data analysis. He is a great sidekick and a strong brawler in his own right. Marucho battles with Elfin, an aquos Bakugan who is apparently in love with Marucho's former Bakugan partner Preyas. Elfin agreed to temporarily partner with Marucho to make sure that all the Bakugan would be freed.

Shun is a ninja in training and a very dangerous opponent. He may be young, but he is trained in the Shonin arts. Shun battles with Ventus attributed Bakugan and he is cunning and tricky in all his attacks. There are layers to Shun's strategy and he uses misdirection and deception very well. Shun battles with Ingram a flying Ventus Bakugan. He fell through a rip in the dimensions and ended up in New Vestroia right in the nick of time. He showed up and saved both Dan and Marucho from loosing their Bakugan in battle.

Strong and silent, Shun is a master of the game. He helped develop the original rules for playing the Bakugan game with Dan, and he was the strongest Bakugan player on Earth for quite a long time until Dan beat him in battle to help evolve Drago. Shun is battling to free all the Bakugan, but especially Skyress who was his original partner. Whoever faces this young ninja had better watch out!

Mira is the leader of the Reistance on New Vestroia. Wise and patient, she makes a strong leader. She has too because her team mates are a bunch of goof balls quite often. A Vestal girl, she learned of the truth about Bakugan and that they were sentient creatures after seeing her father experimenting on them in his lab. Her father is one of the most brilliant scintific minds working on enslaving the Bakugan. He even created the first mechanical Bakugan Altair! Her brother disappeared one day, and she is even now trying to find him, sure that he is battling to free the Bakugan just like her.

Mira is a Subterra warrior and she uses Wilda as her warrior bakugan and she uses the special trap Bakugan Baliton as well. She battles strong, and her strategies focus on overwhelming her enemies with shere power, just like a good subterra brawler should. Her heart may be her greatest weakness though as she is always distracted thinking about the family she has lost.

Baron is a Vestal boy who is the youngest of all the members of the Bakugan resistance. Though Baron is young, he has so much zeal and passion for the game. He idolizes the famous 6 Bakugan brawlers from Earth, and he practically falls overhimself to say hi to them. Baron may be naive, but he is a powerful Haos warrior as well. He trains with Dan as much as possible to get better and better.

Baron battles with the Haos Bakugan Nemus who follows him in everything. Nemus is fiercly loyal and will support any decision Baron makes- good or bad. The two make a great team and have some powerful attack combos to steal victory from the face of defeat. Barron's trap Bakugan is Piercian and together they form a formidable team.

Ace is the second in command for the Bakugan Resistance. He is handsome, collected, and not a little sarcastic. He is a strong Darkus Brawler and is a Vestal who learned the real truth about Bakugan as well. Ever since the day he learned the truth he has been fighting to free the Bakugan. He is secretly in love with Mira and jealous of all the attention she gives to Dan. Both Dan and Ace are very similar in their passion for winning and as such there is lots of tension.

Ace's main Bakugan warrior is Percival a Darkus attributed Bakugan. His trap Bakugan is Falconfly. They fight with all their might to free the Bakugan once and for all, and even though he may have his faults, he's a strong team mate and he always pulls through for his friends in the end.

So that is the Bakugan Battle Brawler resistance. Together they are fighting for all the Bakugan on New Vestroia, and they are the only hope out there for freeing the creatures from the Vexos. Will their combined might be enough to destroy the strongest Vexos brawlers once and for all? Only time will tell!
