Bald Eagle landing in a tree in Kamloops, BC.

To me bald eagles mean freedom and  strength. I love bald eagles. I think they are the most handsome bird there is.

A bald eagle stands for freedom because a bald eagle has the freedom to fly the skies wherever he wants. A bald eagle has nothing to fear. He has no real natural enemies besides humans.

A bald eagle stands for strength because a bald eagle has powerful claws and a powerful jaw. A bald eagle is strong because it was almost wiped out in a lot of areas but has made a remarkable comeback.

I love bald eagles. I am very fortunate to live in an area where I can see bald eagles in their natural habitat quite frequently. I know of one tall old tree by a river that I have seen a bald eagle sitting in at least a hundred times in the past four years. To me it is an honour and a privledge to see such a sight.
