Why anyone would stay at the Majestic Suites

Tucked away on the corner of Sukhumvit road and Soi 4 (Nanatai) is one of the best known girl friendly hotels in Bangkok, the Majestic Suites.

For years many frequent visitors who enjoy Bangkok's red light districts have made the Majestic Suites their temporary home for both short and long term stays. Not only is it because the Majestic is considered a budget hotel in Bangkok but mainly because of it's location.

Just around the corner from the Majestic Suites is Nana Entertainment Plaza (NEP), a tiny compact 3 floor building crammed full of go go bars and beer bars. NEP is so close to the Majestic Suites you can literally stumble drunk to get there within 3 minutes.

But NEP is not the only source of male adult entertainment near the Majestic Suites. Just right across the entrance of NEP lies the Nana Hotel parking lot. Around 9pm you'll see dozens of ladies lining the entrance and posing for attention inside the parking lot.

Location wise the Majestic Suites can't be beat, but if you're the type like me who wants to stay in a comfortable hotel you're wondering if it's a clean and safe place to stay. Well read on to find out more information below.

Majestic Suites Review

There are four room types available at the Majestic Suites:

  1. Single Studio
  2. Single Superior
  3. Double Studio
  4. Double Superior

I've noticed that not all rooms are the same size, maybe because of the building configuration. But to give you an idea the cheapest room, single studio room is just 19 square meters. While the most expensive room the double superior is 38 square meters. Don't expect much of a view as the Majestic is a short building.

Yes I know the single studio is tiny especially when the bed is pretty big and there's a small refrigerator, chairs and desk. But if you're here for a nightlife experience, all you really need is a bed and a clean bathroom right? However, single studio is a very affordable room and the most popular room type in Majestic Suites so it's a good idea to book at least a few weeks in advance. If you can afford to pay for the larger rooms than by all means go ahead, you'll be a happy man.

If cleanliness is your major concern then you'll be happy to hear that the Majestic Suites is one of the cleanest hotels in the area. Since it's a professionally run hotel group the housekeeping staff are trained by international standards and you'll notice it soon once you enter the hotel lobby.

What's also cool is that you'll have access to a tiny fitness center and an equally tiny swimming pool inside their much more expensive sister hotel called the Majestic Grande, just a 5 minute walk past the Nana Hotel.

Normally a free breakfast is included in the room rate but make sure you get to the lobby early. There are very few tables as you can see when you first come into the hotel. So as you can imagine it can get quite crowded and the wait time might be long.

I really recommend staying at the Majestic Suites. Not only are they a quality budget hotel in Bangkok but the location can't be beat. Nana Entertainment Plaza is just around the corner as well as the Nana Hotel parking lot, a popular spot to pick up ladies. Soi Cowboy, another popular red light district is just a 15 minute walk away.

And if you want to get around Bangkok there is a BTS Sky Train station outside, a 5 minute walk too. The Sky Train will also take you to Patpong red light district easily as well.

Finally keep in mind that even though Majestic Suites does have a guest friendly policy, your lady of the night must leave her Thai I.D. card with hotel security near the entrance. This will only ensure your safety and is a professional courtesy.

Informative and useful. You only need room size when you want to dance. I don't dance. A running leap is a possibility I suppose.

Hi Peter, thanks for dropping by again. Most guys who go to stay in Majestic also don't have dancing on their mind =)
