Heres a story for you. I run a crew and payday is always on Saturday, I bank at a local non Bank of America bank. It was Saturday morning and I was to cash a check to pay my guys. I am on a shoestring budget, so sometimes I have to run around cashing checks to pay my guys. (I have never missed a payday). A lot of the checks I get from customers are from bank of america, so I generally go to the one near my house and as a non account holder I cash them no problem with two I.Ds. Usually my drivers license and My city job picture I.D.

On this day I was in the south part of the city where everything seems to be geared to prevent crime. I went into the bank of america branch and after thumbprinting the check and the teller looking up the payors signature to make sure it matched, I was denied the right to cash it because they did'nt like my city id. I told them I never had any problem cashing checks North of the river and asked if the policy was different here. No it is not. apparantly illegal aliens with their name written on a piece of cardboard can get banking priveliges, but a working man with to legitimate forms of id can go F*** himself.

As I left the bank I told the fatass security gaurd that his bank sucked and i was then followed to my van where a heated engagement of profanities ensued. I left and knew that the fatass gaurd had written down my plate number. I was pulled over by the local police two miles from the bank. I had to explain the situation and was let go without a warning. Apparantly the police officer think Bank of america can go to hell as well!!!

I returned to the job site and told the guys i had to go north to cash the check, they told me just to stay untill the last minute so i could get more work done. That would have drove me crazy, so I left and left a for sure extra day on the job.

I made it to the north branch and went in. Immediately I told the story and they were apologetic, cashed the check and even offered me 25 to open an account with them... I saw this as an opportunity to get a free 25.... Thats the least they could do.

As the bank manager put my info in the computer... This is the kicker, a bank of america credit card from 1997 appeaered on the screen, saying I owed the bank well over 1000 dollars....Are you kidding me?!?!?! I have never used bank of America for anything!!!!!

After an hour of arguing and calling people we finally figured out it wasnt me,,, but my credit had been affected for all these years!!!! I am so pissed,,, Bank of America can go to hell and take their 25 dollars to hell with them!!!!!!!
