He speaks the Truth in Kenya, but Not in the States

Fiction or Fact? A Goatsman?

Senator Obama is "the son of a Luo tribesman" of Kenya."Fiction: Obama stated in his Convention speech: 'My father ... grew up herding goats.".

However, doing a little research, USVetdsp I read that "Obama Jr's father was born a member of the Luo tribe in Nyangoma-Kogelo, Siaya District, Kenya. Senior's Luo father (Obama Jr's grandfather), Hussein Onyango Obama, was a " also, "At 18, Obama Jr's father, Barack Obama Sr. (Senior), married a girl called Kezia from a local village." A few years later, because of his wealthy father's influence he was awarded a scholarship to the University of Hawaii and at age 23 left his pregnant wife, Kezia, and their children behind.

While still married to Kezia, he married Anne Durham, an 18 yr old white woman student from Kansas who was studying anthropology. They had a child, Barack Hussein Obama on August 4, 1961.

In 1963, Obama Sr. abandoned Anne and Barack to pursue his PhD in economics at Harvard. He met another woman, Ruth, at Harvard and they married and had a child. He then returned to Kenya and had two more children with his first wife and 2 more children with Ruth. He also served as senior economist in the country's Ministry of Finance.

Obama Sr. died in an alcohol related auto accident and left behind three wives, one mistress, six sons, one daughter and possibly another child with another mistress, and was buried as a Muslim. Apparently, his mother remained in Indonesia and sent Barack to live with his grandparents in Hawaii. so, there may be issues here of abandonment.

It has been established by Dick Cheney's wife that Barack's maternal lineage traces back to slave-owners, in fact, Dick Cheney and Obama are distant cousins.. It is also postulated that since Barack's paternal family were elite Muslim Kenyans that they were also slave-traders. So this is the guy you want to believe in?

He's lied about his family when he gave the convention speech, what else is he lying about?

Look, I 'm not a hater. I campaigned for Senator Melvin King when he ran for the Mayor of Boston in the 80's. But what I do not appreciate is someone making up fictitious statements about themselves. I just don't think that Senator Obama is leveling with the Public. His statements don't add up.

What politician tells the whole truth and nothing but the truth? Everything read or heard, in regards to a politician should be taken as a partial truth, because no one can know all the facts (reading it off the internet/newspaper does not make it the truth)- unless you've actually spoken with all persons involved in whatever incident you are looking into.

People say its fiction that his father was a goat herder because he was from a wealthy family: cows, goats, bulls are all considered animals of wealth and if his grandfather owned a successful farm as it has been stated, then would it not stand to reason that were would be livestock on this farm and would it also not then be feasible that Obama's father had assisted his father on the farm and worked with that livestock? Or perhaps his grandfather never had a farm, but this was a story Obama's father told him- so to him, that is who his father was, then in that case, he isnt lying he is telling the truth he knows. However, there always is the possiblity that he made it all up to get voters... but havent all politicians done that?

Show me one politican in recent history that was completely honest in every aspect, personal and political. I think the last time that actually happened was when our constitution was being drafted by the Founding Fathers- but even they had there own faults. There is no such thing as a honest politician and there is no such thing as a perfect person, so why do people expect them to be? Could your own life stand up to such scrutiny? Those who cast stones at politicians for lying, have you never told a lie before? I'm not perfect and I will never claim to be. I've made mistakes, I've been in bad situations, its called life and I refuse to apologize for living it and I refuse to stop learning from it. And I'm sorry, but to say his ancestors could have been slave holders, so do you want that kind of person as a president- are you kidding me??? dick cheney has said his relatives owned slaves- you elected him to VP, washington owned slaves, jefferson owned slaves and yet we revere them- you cannot judge a person based on what their ancestors did. That is just asinine. All politicians have personal faults, just look for the one who has a majority of policies that match yours- that is the only way to judge a politician.
