These books also promise to get you a full out strategy to bass fishing assuring you larger bass and alot more of them. Most of the bass fishing tips these books provide are all the same. So if you are going to buy a bass fishing tips book only buy one. So that you can save your money for your fishing lures.
When you go fishing from one place to the other in the U. S. or any other country you will see many different types of lakes and rivers. Each of these lakes and rivers have there own charactoristics. Yet they are all completly different from each other. One bass fishing lake or river may have a lot of bass holding crevices. While Another bass fishing lake or river may only have a hand full of these heavy bass infested areas. These bass fishing lakes and river all so have a lot in common.
The more time you spend at a particular lake or river, you will start to acquire a ton of knowledge on what your best lure and technique may be. The best tip any experienced and seasoned bass fishermen. To be aware of the fishing conditions, if you are unsure stop by a local bass fishing shop and ask the locals for some tips. You also need to make sure to try out a vast majority of your lures to see what works best in your currenent situation. Most impirtantly you need to know how to responde to the 3 common water types.
- Muddy Water/Murky water: These are low-visibility water bases, a bass will find it's food using sonar. For this water type you need to use noisy lures or vibrating lures. If your rod shakes alot while you reel it in you are using a high vibrating or noisy lure. So bust out yout heaviest vibrating lure. Making sure to almost constanly keeping it in the water so the bass can detect it.
- Clear Water: Bass tend to be overly cautious in clear water. this is part of their survival instincts. So they will be a little wary of everything that is out of the ordinary. To over come this aspect of how a bass works. You need to use smaller tests that will be less visible. You also need to make further casts and use lures the resemble their food for that area. Spinners tend to work well in cleat water. However if this ins't working switch to a dark black spiner blade to eliminate the flash.
- Normal Water: Normal watter has basic algea and plankton which filters out some of the sun. This is a great place for all types of lures. This is because the bass tend to be less timid. I prefer to use a shotgun approch here with about 3 different set ups or dressings. Using the following three setups; top/surface lure, deep diver, and the final will be a simple plastic worm. I will do about 10-15 cast with each of these lures. I then switch them up with a different variathion. This will allow you the ability to see what is working.
Remember that there is no substitute for experience, as the saying goes, and there is no opportunity better than fishing to prove that maxim true. So the next time you are in the tackle shop, stop for a minute and think about what you are doing, do not do things without even thinking about it.
Bass fishing techniques vary from one situation with another. The few ideas presented to you here may help you in deciding and planning your next bass fishing adventure. If you are still needing more bass fishing tips. One of my favorite bass fishing websites is bass fishing pro
Lastly, please bear in mind that safety is the must be technique to adopt in any endeavor. Always check your gadgets for any defect and if you will use a boat, it has to be a licensed one.
