Installing Bathroom Sink: To install a bathroom sink, you may need pipes for roughing in the bathroom sink including hot and cold supply stubouts, shutoff valves, transition fittings, and flexible tubing for above the shutoff valves. You will also need some essential home DIY tools.
While installing a bathroom sink, make sure there is enough space between the sink and the toilet tank.
A bathroom sink normally has two fixture holes on either 4-, 6- or 8-inch centers. The wider types are meant to receive a split-set faucet, with faucet handles separate from the spout. The 4- or 6-inch holes may receive a center set or a single-lever faucet. Pop-up stoppers move up and down to open or close sink drains.

How to install a bathroom sink
1. Carefully cut the pipes to the required size.
2. Following the directions in the owners’ manual, assemble the faucet.
3. Now fix the escutcheon, coupling nut, compression ring and valve.
4. Using crescent wrenches, tighten the coupling nut onto the valve.
5. Now connect the trap to the drain body and the drain pipe.
6. Run water into the basin and check for any leaks.
