I am going to be a barbeque superhero tonight. And after this hub, you can be as well.

About six feet away from me right now, I am grilling supper on the barbeque. I have ribs being cooked as I described in my ribs hub. At the same time, my wife had a craving for some tenderloin. And when my wife craves tenderloin it is more powerful than a chocolate craving. So we are eating well tonight.

So I am going to share my wife's favorite barbequed pork tenderloin recipe.

Step One: The preparation

This recipe is so simple. All you need is pork tenderloin, pepper, seasoning (we use Mrs. Dash) dehydrated onions, your favorite barbeque sauce, and tin foil.

Pull out a 14-18 inch long sheet of tin foil and lay it shiny side up. Seaon both sides of the tenderloin with the pepper and seasoning. Pour some barbeque sauce on the tin foil and sprinkle the dehydrated onions over it. Place the tenderloin on top of the sauce. Sprinkle onions over the tenderloin, and coat top of the tenderloin with the barbeque sauce.

Wrap up the foil and fold over the ends. See I told you it was simple.

Step Two: Cooking

By now you know I am a fan of slow cooking. The temperature on the barbeque is set to low (around 350-400). I place the foil pouches on the top rack and baked for forty minutes.

To make sure it is evenly cooked I wil turn the pouches over every ten minutes.

Step Three: Enjoy

After forty minutes, remove the pouches from the grill. Cut open the pouch and remove the tenderloin. After that if you need help eating it. Let my wife know.

Paul, you are going to drag me away from the work I'm meant to be doing with your rib recipes, damn you!! ;-)

Once again, this looks tremendous - I'm off to the cottage soon, so I think I may just be showing off my new culinary skills... ;-)

Thanks for the Hub!
