Be Aware of Child Abuse
64The Month of April
April is child abuse awareness month. I believe every day and month should be child abuse awareness.
If you suspect or know of child abuse it is your duty to report it!
Children are the future and cannot protect themselves. We must help them.
My views are very, very strong on this subject and I feel a need to get across to the world how important our children are.
I am rounding up pictures of children who have died due to abuse. The first will be my grandson Jonathan.
I am also putting every helpful link towards this epedemic. Please all stand up for the children!
So Sad
These are just a few--I will leave the link where I got some of these.
We must protect the children. Don't be scared, if you suspect it report it!

If you suspect that a child is being abused or neglected, you should call your local Child Protective Services (CPS) agency or the CPS agency in the State in which the abuse occurred.
I Hope
I really hope this hub will push some of you to help children. It matters not what state or country you are in; it is happening there too!
I am working on getting funding for a child abuse awareness billboard here in the town I live in.
It is becoming an epedimic. Children are having children and don't know how to raise them. Drugs are also a big culprit in all of this.
YOUR CHILDREN COME FIRST__THERE IS TIME TO KILL YOURSELF LATER. PROTECT YOUR CHILD.
I dedicate this hub to the memory of my precious grandson Jonathan. We love and miss you--I look forward to the day I see your precious face in heaven.

Actually with that my heart was just ripped out--why oh why?
This is a tough hub Froggy but so needed. As I was reading, I was asking myself, "Why? Why?" And that's your cry on the comment above. Really, why. There are beasts who have no respect for children. It falls upon you and I who have a heart to watch over every child we encounter and make the moments they spend with as the safest they can be. I'm with you Froggy.
Thank you PenmanZee--I feel that God has given me a responsibility to get this out to the world.
Froggy..If anyone can help it is you and you are doing a great job to keep highlighting this appalling sick problem that unfortunately exists in our society and its so easy for people to forget.!! Keep spreading the word because every little thing you do really helps..
I hope and pray compu-smart that my words are getting through. Thank you my good friend for your encouragement.
It's great to say if you suspect your child or children are being abused go to the authorities, social workers....... That is exactly what I did for my children and what did they do........... NOTHING!!! to help me protect my kids..........what kind of world is this?
Where is the humanity and the love for fellow human beings??? NOBODY CARES! NOT ANYMORE!!! From a distraught mother. Thank you for your Hub,awareness is good... get it all out in the open and some child may be saved
Any words or deeds that help protect our precious children get my vote.
Thanks for this hub, it must have been so heart wrenching for you.
I wish you love and support for your cause
Froggy - Your Johnathan's champion.
Keep shouting. Your voice will help save a life and prevent others from feeling the anquish.
I will share your story and support the cause.
Froggy I feel so strongly about this too. I actually just published my child abuse poem and saw your link here on my page. To hurt such angels is inexcusable, inhuman, yes we have to look out for the children they need us to be a louder voice to be heard. xoxo
Thank you my lovely friend. Your poem is very, good. The link to it is:

Froggy! You're ripping my heart out. It's such a harsh world. I just came home from the hospital where my granddaughter just had her tonsils taken out. In the room across the hall is a crib occupied with an 8 month old little girl. That precious little tyke is no bigger then a flea. (I snuck a peek on her chart 17 lbs with soggy diaper and all.) She is the result of a 14 year old heroin addicted baby herself. The little tyke is in foster care. You know what still makes me feel ill? I was not allowed to go and sit and rock her in my grandma arms. That innocent little thing has no one there who really loves her when she opens her eyes. Just aches and pain and the runs...Sorry I'm ranting. I just can't see how anyone can harm the helpless trusting little souls....
Great hub regards Zsuzsy
