Paintball Marker Mastery

Do you wanna be a TOP paintball player?

You think you got what it takes?

Do you know your guns? This is a great factor, their are your tools to defeat the enemy. There are many types of guns, and each one has a purpose for a style of play.

Here I will help you learn about them, for you to become the ULTIMATE JEDI MASTER. Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but you can find TONS of more tips at Paintball Tips Online .com

Pump Action Markers

These guns use pump action to shoot, much like those pump action shotguns you see everywhere. You have to pull up to ready the shot, then shot and pull up again for another shot. Although some find these types of gun slow, I like them. Each shot counts.

Semi-Automatic Markers

These beauties fire a single shot, but they don't require you to ready the gun again. You shoot, the bolt moves back, you shoot again. Many newbies choose these type of guns, but you don't have to be a newbie to make this one your favourite.

Fully Automatic Guns

Hardcore guns that fire paintballs as long as you hold the trigger. Trigger happy players - AVOID THEM. they make you run out of ammo fast, and can be quite addicitng. having said that, I'd like to add that they are lots of fun. They are perfect to give some cover and to move while shooting.

Ramping Mode Guns

These are safer automatic guns, they only fire 15 shots per second, which is also quite a lot! These are the guns that are required in tournaments around here. Mora than 15 shots per second could cause some injury to other players.

Assessing Your Situation and Skills

If you are new to the game you might be tempted to pack your automatic guns for a game, but this can be a mistake. A single shot gun will help you improve your aim while at the same time will help you save ammo for later.

Advanced tactics can assignate each player a type of gun to accomplish certain missions and objectives. A team leader should be found to make the team a team strong with the force. Unleash your paintball !

I agree with you that it might be better for beginners to start playing with pump or semi auto guns.

because people who just play with fully auto will often be lazy and not nearly as skilled at shooting.

if you want you can read more paintball tactics at http://hubpages.com/hub/badlandspaintballtactics
