DONT SAMPLE EVERYTHING ON OFFER

Your perseverance will be continuosly tested when sticking to the 'destination beach wedding dress action plan' I mentioned in my last hub.

Choosing your beach wedding menu is one such instance in the seemigly long journey to your beach wedding. The key to sucess is not to give in to temptation. Remember you don't have to sample everything on offer.Stick to your healthy diet, take along friends or family ( the ones who eat usually the most but are reed thin) and let them do the bulk of the tasting.

Once the guest list among all parties involved are resolved, you can move on to focusing on  the needs of guests on your beach wedding guest list. As they save the way to man's heart is through his stomach. This may just apply for all of your guests.A scrumptious beach wedding menu will go along way to keeping the memory of your special day alive in the memory of your guests for a long time.

Keep in mind that the cost of food alone can cost up to 45-50% of the total wedding budget. One of your first considerations should be deciding on the type of meal you will be serving i.e a plated dinner or a buffet meal, which usually includes several entrée options.

A plated dinner is considered the most formal option, since as each guest will be individually served.Keep in mind that despite the individual attention you will still have to restrict your menu with a choice of 2 or 3 menu options.for vegan and other guest dietery preferences. It is nicer to offer guests an option with a plated dinner, either two completely separate choices, or two choices, such as meat and fish, on one plate.

Buffet style meals seem to be the current trend taking into account two crucial factors of convenience and cost. Plated service requires more servers, both to do the plating in the kitchen and to serve the meal to guests.

Also, buffets make it easier and more cost effective to provide guests with a variety of choices .It also is much more relaxed ambiance so guests are not restricted to dining at the table they can also have the opportunity to mingle and meet the other side of their new family.

Your job is to ensure that they eat, drink and make merry. You will have to come up with a menu or alternatively find a caterer who will advise you on what your options are. Then you will have to go wine tasting, selecting your choice of wine and other alcohol, though this could be inclusive in the caterers contract. The last of your worries will be the entertainment.

CHOOSING A CATERER

Meet and Greet before you Eat

Once you've found a suitable list of caterers, sample some of their work, ask for references if you have to. You can expect the food to look precisely the way it will at your reception. You can either have your own menu in mind or depending on the caterer you may be asked to choose from their own menu options.

By opting for a buffet however your guest will have more than the 'beef or chicken' menu options. Considering that it is a beach wedding so a less formal meal may be more suitable. You could opt for to keep it light with bite size portions of popular food like burgers and blt sandwiches or also incorporate some sea food.

Sign The Deal

Once you are satisfied with the quality of the caterers samples you can go ahead and sign the deal. Be sure to get a written contract making clear the date, time and special requirements.

GOING FOR A SONG

Choosing the right entertainment, band and music can be crucial to a great reception party. For your beach wedding you could for a different activities on the beach, not necessarily doing the limbo but by making the most of your beach wedding location.

try to resource the talents of someof your family members eg if they play an instrument well, sing or dance well.Tyr to get the kids involved too, this keep them busy and out of trouble.
