When I was a kid, I had only seen bits and pieces of this movie. One day, I had seen the movie at Best Buy for cheap, so I ended up buying it. I actually do love the movie.

This Movie is about two friends whom are from two sides of the tracks. You have Hilary, whom has all the money in the world and then you got CC whom is a starving artist.

The two girls meet on the beach of Atlantic city and became friends automatically.  Over the years they had been sending letters back and forth to each other.

The way the movie was probably told is the only way to tell the story when it has to do with flashbacks. The movie starts out with CC rehearsing for her next concert. She then gets a note and then heads to the airport where she found that the planes were not flying because of the fog. She then goes and rents a car to drive down to where her friend Hilary. You don't know that until you start watching the movie.

Then flashback mode starts up to where they had met originally. It works its way up to the present time. Here and there it would flash to the car scene, but for the most part it told the story straight through until CC meets her friend whom is dying. It then finishes up the movie.

Its both a happy and sad movie. it really did show how the friendship was like between the two. The music is great and I know many of the songs. I own both the movie and the music CD.
