Yesterday I, CoryLavel heard the new diss record from Rap Artist Beanie Sigel dissing Jay-Z. In the song Beanie claims that Jay-Z was not loyal to to his label, or his friends, and that Beanie has some news that could be damaging to Jay-Z's marriage to Beyonce. I feel that Beanie feels somewhat jealous of Jay and the life that Jayhas attained through his hustle and grind. Jay responded to Beanie by saying, " I gave him a label, a clothing line, and a record deal. He even drove two Bentley's at the same time and made over $800,000 in sales." It appears that Beanie just might be doing this to stir up controversy for the mixtape he is about to drop, but I think going against the person who got you started is a bit much. You never bite the hand that feeds you, and in this case it's Jay. What is very obvious is that Beanie must have been very foolish with his money, because this isn't the first time we have heard him complain about money. When Beanie started his career, he came out at a time before all the digital downloading began. he came out when rappers were making a lot of money and actually selling records. Now there is a rumor that Beanie will join G-Unit and 50 Cent for his next album, which could be good or bad only time will tell on that. To me this another example of poor financial management by Beanie and a lack of focus. There are so many ways to make money once your in the music business, he could've done more features, did more touring around the world. We are all given a chance when the spotlight is shinned on us as Artist's and when it does you have to make the best of your situation. Jay is winning the beef and he is winning in the hip hop world.
