Battle of the Bulge:

Each tablespoon of beans that you eat, fills your body up with low calories, high in volume and fiber. Beans are the filling station of our body. Beans fight the battle of the bulge, help control your appetite. Thus, beans take up a lot of room in your stomach.

Picture this, beans release of carbohydrates into your bloodstream, offering another peek at long lasting energy. Beans will sustain you longer than a food source as potato.

There are more benefit in beans from the soluble fiber, because it slows the passage of carbohydrates from food into the bloodstream.

The following beans or legumes are loaded with B vitamin folate: Black beans, Garbano beans, chickpea, Great Northern beans, Lima beans, Navy beans, Pinto beans, Red Kidneys and Lentils beans are just a simple. Yet they can reduces blood level of homocysteine, an amino acid implicated in heart disease as well as this vitamin is the same that wards off birth defects too!

There is one more source of magnesium-rich product in the legume family, called soybeans. Soybeans are very rich in nutritive components. Besides the very high protein content, soybeans contain a lot of fibre and are rich in calcium, magnesium too!

With some many products from the legumes family it is easy for us to fill up at the filling stations where beans (legumes) of all types benefit our bodies and fight diseases on the inside and the outside.

 

Soybeans are rich in unsaturated fatty acids and low in saturated fatty acids, which need to be avoided.  The choice of fuel you put into your body is it regular or unleaded.
