Beautiful Filipina Actresses 2

Here is my second Hub of beautiful Filipina actresses, starting with...

Aubrey Miles

Aubrey Miles

Aubrey Miles was born on March 16, 1982 in Caloocan, Philippines.
She is a TV host, singer and actress.
As a teenager, Aubrey was already doing sitcoms and appearing in beauty pageants.
Her first movie role was in the film Prosti in 2002.
Aubrey has gone on to do 12 movies and appear in at least two TV series.
She also appeared as herself in "The Amazing Race Asia".

She next appeared on the GMA Network reality game show Extra Challenge.
Asia moved on to become a disk jockey on a radio station and an advice columnist for FHM Philippines.
Then she moved on to become the host of Pinoy Big Brother.
(Is Big Brother everywhere?)

Vina Morales
Vina Morales

Vina Morales

Vina Morales was born Sharon García Magdayao on October 17, 1975 in Bogo, Cebu, Philippines.
She is a Filipina singer, actress and model.
Vina started out as a singer, and this lead to her being discovered by Viva Films (a Filipino film production company), who offered her a singing and acting contract.
She has gone on to appear in 18 TV series and special, and over forty movies.
Two of which were Darna and Captain Barbell.
(see? I had to throw in at least one comic reference).
Her younger sister, Shaina Magdayao, is a well known teenage actress in the Philippines.

Anne Curtis
Anne Curtis

Anne Curtis

Anne Curtis was born in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia on February 17th, 1985.
She is of Filipina and Australian descent.
Anne has one of those Hollywood stories.
She was discovered sitting in a booth eating with her mother and father at a Jollibee (a fast-food restaurant chain based in the Philippines) restaurant by a talent agent.
Anne started out on TV in 1995 on TGIS (Thank God It’s Sabado).
Her film debut came in 1997 in the movie Magic Kingdom.

Judy Ann Santos
Judy Ann Santos

Judy Ann Santos

Judy Ann Santos is one multi-talented lady.
She's a film and television actress, a product endorser, a recording artist, and a film producer.
Judy (or Juday/Judai) was born on May 11, 1978 in Manila, Philippines.
In 1986 she got her first role (at the age of eight!) in the TV series, Kaming Mga Ulila.
In 1988, she landed the role of Ula in Ula, Ang Batang Gubat.
That same year she made her film debut in Silang Mga Sisiw Sa Lansangan.
Judy has appeared in close to seventy films and over thirty TV shows and specials and she has racked up a staggering list of awards and nominations.

Maui Taylor
Maui Taylor

Maui Taylor

The beautiful Maui Taylor is a Filipino model, singer, and actress.
She was born on June 28, 1983 in Brighton, East Sussex, England.
Maui gets her exotic looks from her Filipino and English heritage.
In 1995, she appeared (like Anne Curtis) on TGIS, and after that, the age of fourteen, she was cast in the Filipino TV soap opera Anna Karenina.
She became a huge teen star, but she really didn't hit her height of popularity until 2002 when she appeared on the cover of FHM magazine.
With that, Maui successfully crossed over from teen star to sex symbol.
In 2002, she got her first starring role in the movie Gamitan as Cathy Manalo and the film was a smash.
Although most of her roles were of a sexy nature, she changed all that in 2003's Ang Huling Birhen Sa Lupa when she played Cion, a mentally retarded girl who was supposed to be sixteen, but have the mentality of a ten year old.
At the 2003 Manila Film Festival, she was nominated for Best Actress for the role.
