Becoming Recession Proof

Most people go to school to learn to be an employee of a system. They have been trained only to see the value of their job. Most people work for the system rather than own the system.

Another word for system is network. If you really want to learn how to be rich, and not worry what the economy is doing, you must begin to know and understand the power found in networks. A well-designed and well-managed business network will exponentially earn far more than a hardworking individual can. Many people settle for security in their job while sacrificing true financial freedom. There may not be much money early in the business because it takes time to build a network. It may take as much as five to ten years of struggle and not much pay before the fruits of your labors begin to pay off. However, after those 5-10 years, you will be far richer than most of your peers, even the ones who went on to become doctors and lawyers.

The richest people in the world build networks. Everyone else is trained to look for work.

Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad, stated "I went to business school for my MBA because I wanted to be an entrepreneur, not an employee. Most of the mid-level managers or teachers on the faculty had no idea what it took to start a business from nothing. Most were not entrepreneurs. Most were employees. Most left the ivory towers of the school and entered the ivory towers of the corporate world. Most were addicted to job security and to a steady paycheck.

"Don't get me wrong. Much of the information being taught in the business school I attended was valuable information for anyone in business. However, the school was not teaching me the streetwise skills I knew I needed to be an entrepreneur.

"Network marketing is a business school for people who want to learn the real-world skills of an entrepreneur, rather than the skills of an employee who wants to become a highly paid mid-level manager in the corporate world."

So, what are the skills needed to be an entrepreneur? Real life skills are the education needed to be successful. Real life subjects that network marketing companies teach are:

  1. An attitude of success
  2. Leadership skills
  3. Communication skills
  4. People skills
  5. Overcoming personal fears, doubts and lack of confidence
  6. Overcoming the fear of rejection
  7. Money-management skills
  8. Investing skills
  9. Accountability skills
  10. Time-management skills
  11. Goal setting
  12. Dressing for success

Opportunity awaits for anyone wanting a better life for themselves and their family. But, network marketing is about helping others realize their dreams. Along the way to doing that, your dreams also come true. You must be willing to help people. No greed or arrogance here; but a genuine desire to see others succeed. The more you help others become rich building their own business, the more your own business will grow. And you will become richer. Talk about a win-win situation. You must have a life long desire to learn and teach.

Network marketing is a revolutionary new way of sharing the wealth with anyone who truly wants to acquire great wealth, and thus becoming recession proof.
