Becoming a Good Observer

What's Going On?

In these times of speedy global transmutations and transformations in political, economic and social spheres, we must never allow a day to pass by without finding the answers to inexhaustive lists of important questions such as:

What is going on in our societies? What new challenges are currently facing our governments? What is impacting our communities, both local and global? What are the new breakthroughs, the new oppurtunities that have currently come to light? Who are the new personalities that are currently influencing and shaping global and local opinion?

We must become good observers and astute evaluators of all that is going on around us. A good number of hubbers (including yours sincerely) actually stumbled on Hub pages accidentally and this was driven out of sheer curiosity to discover new grounds and explore virgin areas on the internet. Today, we are the better for it...considering all the mass of new knowledge I have acquired from reading a deluge of high quality informative and educative materials!!

All events affect us, and what affects us leaves an imprint on our psyche and on what we will one day become. How we will invariably live, someday and somewhere. Through so many of the hubs I have read in barely a four month period, I have learnt so much about varying cultures and climes and the plural diversities that exist on this terrestrial plane...how rich this earth is...how enriched I have become!!!

One of the major reasons why people are'nt doing so well in most of their personal lives, is simply because they refuse to look out the window. They simply refuse to peep into the world out there. They keep trying to get through just one day and this further limits their intellectual and psychological horizons.

A more worthy challenge would be to try and get as much as possible from each day. Learn what we can, when we can, while we can. We must become sensitive enough to observe and ponder what is happening around us...be more alert. Be awake and let life and all its subtle messages touch us. Often, the most extraordinary oppurtuinities are hidden among the seemingly insignificant events of life!! If we do not pay attention to these events (whatever it is we choose to focus on), we can easily miss the oppurtunities.

Let us learn to observe what goes on around us for we shall be here for just a short and fleeting while...only a while and never to return.

Observe...make the most of now...Today!

You are correct. Life and our command of it is indeed fleeting,

Often you have only one chance

As a matter of fact I have learnt so much this short while I have been here-am not going to give up on the observation spirit any soon! It is the way to go in this highly globalized world!
