Promotion is the next step in affiliate marketing. Its not as easy as it sounds and it takes up a lot of time. There are ways of making the process much more simple and I am going to help you do exactly that.

If you would like to write great articles and earn commissions from the sales that those articles generate, you may want to use some sort of article submission software. Sometimes, submitting your website to search engines may be free, while some other websites may cost you money. One of the best free ways to market a product on the internet is using social networks. While most websites will not "specialize" in business, social networks are open for exceptions. The best "business social network" to use is Yuwie. Thousands of members online, earning money while promoting products to earn money, etc. It doesn't get much better than that.
Link Submission
Submitting your website to build one way back links is a great way to increase your rank in search engines, as well as give you visitors from the links. That's a great way to generate traffic. Here are some free to submit link sites below.
Merchant Circle- Many website submission sites are useless because their directories have no traffic. Merchant Circle is a website that specializes in business. While it may specialize in "real world businesses", you are allowed to write blogs, submit links, create ads, and earn advertising dollars for websites such as Google Adwords, Yahoo, etc.
Freetrafficsystem- This is my personal favorite website to use. You can build an unlimited amount of one way backlinks. Not only do you build unlimited back links simple, you also can obtain "free content" for your blog site. Tired of buying content, or writing it yourself, that's all over. This website offers the most unique affiliate program. You refer people to the website, and you get free one way back links, and earn money while doing so. Can any other website do that for you.

While promoting your products, you may want to have people sign up for something such as a mailing list. This will allow you to keep in contact with those customers and refer products to them. If they find you to be a honest woman/man, they will most likely purchase what you offer. That is how I started off marketing. I found a niche (Making Money Online) and I stuck with it. I then built a loyal customer base and I gave them what they were looking for. Of course most of my products and services were free of charge to my customers, but selling them stuff will work also.
Utilize multiple directories to build your list. The following ways I listed to promote your products may also work when trying to promote your mailing list. Offer a good amount of information and keep some information as premium. In order for them to receive that information, they must join your mailing list.
It could be a free mailing list, or you could make a membership out of your mailing list. You could charge a small one time fee or a small recurring fee for people to receive your information. Then you can find products and give them away free. This is only for products that have master resale rights and re-brand rights. This will guarantee great results. Aweber- Aweber offers some very high tech email marketing software. This allows you to create very good emails and send them out to those who joined your mailing list. Get Response- Another website that offers email marketing software. This professional software is alike like Aweber, except you have the choice of signing up free. You may also sign up for premium services.
Step 4: Repeat the process
Many marketers online will give you a long list of things to do in order to earn money online. That may work, but it doesn't have to be that hard to do. Many people write all of that information because they feel they need to. Its basically an extension of what you really have to do.
My personal experience shows that my steps included here are all I need. So I repeat this process over and over again to generate sales. Most people say stick to one niche, and that is a good idea. I, personally use multiple niches. My main niche is making money online, but you may catch me working with other topics such as religion and video games. That's what makes it better for me. I have a passion for the business. Dedication is the key to success in this business.

I did, but eventually I had to get a job. It wasn't a wealth machine, but I did earn enough to not have a job. Results do vary though.
