Becoming a US citizen

To become a US citizen, you will need to get a permanent resident card first, which is also known as Green Card. You will have to apply for it first and then wait for some time and they will send it to you. That Green Card will be good for 5 years and then you will need to apply for another one. The second Green Card that you will get, be good for 10 years. And finally, after all this time, you should be able to apply for a citizen of the United States.
