LIght beer is NOT like diet colas, which are calorie-free and fat-free.It's just lighter than regular. The supposed low caloric value of wine versus liquor is also a myth.Light may be lighter but too much will tell on your tummy.
Q: Beer's fattening.What if I diet and eat less ?
Dumb idea. Don't be tempted to skip meals to allow for drinks. Alcohol does not satisfy your hunger, no matter how much fat it contributes to your body! In fact,alcohol lowers blood sugar levels by hampering the simplification of sugars for the body to absorb them well. Eating a proper meal before drinking lines your stomach and slows the rate at which your blood-stream absorbs alcohol thus keeping you control.
