As we age our skin goes through stages of change. Some of those changes include blemishes, wrinkles, fine lines (crows feet). Some of us look at our new looks for what they are, and some don't. The ones who don't will sometimes seek out cosmetic surgery to lift the look back to a younger more vibrant self.

If your one of those seeking help then before you go under the knife, try these few suggestions.

#1 Try Vitamin A in either pill or cream form. I recommend the cream form as it will act much faster. In scientific studies it has been shown to decrease heavy lines in the skin and make them much finer.

#2 Add Salmon To Your Diet. Salmon is rich in Omega 3 Fatty Acids which have been shown to "plump" the skin helping it look smoother and younger.

#3 Eat A Little Dark Chocolate. Dark Chocolate has been shown to add a sheen and a smoothness to the skin.

#4 Discover Oranges. L-Ascorbic acid which is a citric acid has been proven to increase collagen levels in the skin, plumping it and reducing wrinkles.

#5 Drink Water. Drink atleast 6 8 Ounce glasses a day experts say to help flush toxins from your skin making it appear younger and more vibrant.

Now if you'll excuse me...I think I have some shopping to do!

If you can afford to spend a little more, I thoroughly recommend the Rejuvalight non-surgical facelift treatment. I'd tried other treatments before and wasn't impressed, but I recently had a course of the Rejuvalight and was really pleased with the result. here's my Hub about it:
