At some stage of their lives almost everyone has thought about playing golf. Its a great past time which many are introduced to in their teens. The problem many have is that they just start playing, they look at other players & then just try to copy them. However many of the other players have picked up bad habits & are not playing the game correctly. So, what we have are many generations of golfers picking up bad habits form each other.

What we need to do is learn to play the game the right way from the start so its very important to introduce a new player to a good golf tutorial before they pick up any bad golfing habits. When a new player is taught properly, they will excel at the game of golf & will improve over time. The flip side of this is years of playing incorrect golf, years of making mistakes & years of telling yourself that next week will be better.

Have you ever noticed that when playing golf with a few beers on you, you play way better!. This phenomenon is widespread. It happens when you've had a few beers at the bar & then decide to do a round of the golf course. Many say they've played the best golf they ever played with a few beers on them, they cant explain it, after all it should be the other way round, shouldn't it? Well no so, it happens because the player has no fear of the golf ball, they're not worried about hitting the perfect shot; they just hit it & hope for the best. They also try out new ways of hitting the ball that they normally wouldn't do.

So, if someone can play the game of their lives with a few beers then you need to start thinking how you too can play a great game of golf without the alcohol. What you need to realise is that someone under the influence takes a different approach to the game & they're not afraid to try out new things. So, the next time you're on the course, forget about the game you're playing, do fret if you lose it. Just use the next game you play to try out new shots, new ways of hitting the ball. Try a different club rather than the same club you always use. Its by trying out different things that you'll realise that you've been playing poorly for all those years. If need be, go to your local golf store & pick up some new clubs but be sure to test them out before you purchase, ask for some assistance & they'll be sure to supply you with the right club. You'll soon be playing a completely different game that you've played before.
