49The Simple Guide to Photography
Welcome to Fisheye Zen's hubpage for beginning photography tips.
Photography can be a rewarding skill to learn. The basics of photography should begin with understanding what makes a great photo.
The 3 Cs of Great Photography
1. Concept. A great photo has a Concept, which is a universal theme or subject matter. Photos can convey love, fear, anger, beauty or any idea.
2. Clutter. Remove anything that is distracting in your viewfinder. It can be garbage or a tree limb behind someones head. You can also move in closer so that your subject is only in the viewfinder of your camera.
3. Composition. Composing your subject using different techniques will help to focus on your subject. Use a doorway, two trees or anything that can frame your subject. Use the rule of thirds to place your subject in a third part of the viewfinder. Use the converging lines of a road or path to frame your subject.
With the 3 Cs of photography you can use any camera and your pictures will become 100% better.
