Beja's charge part 6
51Teruel approached the library with Brago and Cieza close behind. Suddenly Mieras stood in their way.
"What are we going to do?" Mieras ask.
"You know very well what I am going to do." Teruel shot back "Don't try and stop us. Remember I know magic just as well as you."
"You give yourself to much credit my friend." Mieras replied calmly. "I would warn you not to push and make a scene. I would hate to have to lock up the entire councle."
"Sir, we would not want that." Brago stammered.
Teruel raised his hand toward his two friends and they both froze where they were.
"I see you have been practicing." Mieras smiled.
"My son is out there looking for someone that we are not sure even is alive. Alcoy is on a mission that could get him killed, and you think that I am going to sit and wait?" Teruel fummed at him. "Now out of my way." He went to go by and bounced off an invisable wall.
"You are letting the situation control you. You need to control the situation and the wall will let you through." Mieras smiled and turned to leave.
"What the hell is that suppose to mean."
Mieras stopped and looked back. "When we let the situation control us we tend to do things without thinking through what the outcome might be. When we control the situation we know the outcome." With that he walked away. "You might want to un freeze your friends they may be able to help you."
Glairing at him as he walked away, he snapped his fingers and his two friend shook there heads.
"I need your help, Mieras has used a magic wall to get me out of the library. He said I need to control the situation and I can pass through!"
"What happen." Brago studdered still looking confused.
"He used magic on us." Cieza responded quickly.
"I'm sorry, I should not have done that, but I wanted to speak to Mieras with interuption."
"So you need to control the situation first?" Cieza ask
"What does that mean."
"It means you can't just freeze friends because you want to. You let your anger get the better of you and do things without thinking it through."
Teruel looked at her stunned.
"I'm sorry, but sometimes it takes a friend to tell you when you're out of control."
"How about we got back to your house and talk this through." Brago look at Teruel with a pretty please look on his face.
He stood for a moment looking at the two of them. "Ok fine lets go sit and talk it through." He started walking toward his house without looking to see if they were following.

Couruna looked at Beja as they were dragged down an old brick path way that had not been taken very good care of.
"Use the magic." She said to his through her teeth.
"It's not there." He mumbled back.
She sighed and they were pushed through an old wooden door and sat in chairs, then tied to them. Her sword was laid on the table in front of them. They were in a basement that was dark except for a couple of torches on the wall across from them. They could fell the damness crawling up them and working it's way into their skin.
A slender man having some elf features appeared before them.
"So you know elf magic?" He looked at Beja "You know it and were not affraid to use it in broad daylight."
"I Just..."
"Don't speak, your magic will not work on me. The only reason I have not gagged you is that I don't find you a threat. Don't make that change." He now looked at Couruna. "You will do all the talking."
Beja rolled his eyes at the thought. She swallowed her mouth very dry and smiled.
"You have a sword made from elf magic. How did you come by this?"
"We are on a mission from Alcoy the guardian. He gave me the sword."
"Why should I believe this?"
Ignoring the question she went on. " Cadiz has passed and we are to find his heir."
"How did this happen?"
"Most think is was old age, but Alcoy believes that Elche has something to do with it."
"Elche is tring to come back."
"That is what Alcoy believe. He believes it so much that he is on his way to the elves to seek their help."
"Then who is with you?"
"Beja, Alcoy's heir."
"He know how to use his magic?"
"It just kind of happened, becuase we were in trouble."
"I see, Why haven't you tried to use it here." He looked at Beja.
Beja just looked back not sure what to do.
"You may speak," He looked at the men standing behind them. "Untie them"
As they did Beja spoke.
"I don't know how to call it up, and I didn't threatened enough here."
"I am sorry, Things have been weird and we have to take extra care these days. I am Noll. We are elves that got left behind when the elves left the land." He clapped his and and the room lit up to show a large underground cave. "We stay here and practice the old magic. The cave is protected by elf magic. We have never seen anyone use the magic outside this cave. It is very dangerous to do so. If Elche is working his way back he will surly know you used the magic."
They both looked shocked.
"Any time elf magic is used anyone who know the magic can feel that it has been used. The closer to the user you are the more you can tell who it was. In your case you could tell it was a new user."
"Then Alcoy probably know."
"I am sure of that." Noll motioned for them to calm. He muttered some words and then looked back at them. "I have just sent a thought message to him. He knows of us and will be happy you are here, I am sure Elche will also hear this message and be looking for you again."
"What do we do?" Couruna ask as she grabbed her sword looking ready to fight.
"You are safe here. He isn't strong enough to get into here yet. I say you stay until tomorrow. I will work with you Beja and show you how to use your gift. Couruna I will have these men here work with you on using this sword to it best."
They smiled. "Thank you very much." Beja said as he followed he into a hall near by. Couruna turned to the men and said. "Well gentlemen let's get to work."

Alcoy set up hearing in his head that Beja and Couruna were ok and with Noll. He sent a message back to Noll thanking him. He smiled dispite the fact that he was still feeling very tired. A knock came at the door.
"Come in."
"It's just me sir,"Grays said as he entered. "I have some fruit for you."
"Aw, thank you. This will help."
"Sir may I ask what happen to you."
"Well Grays it is like this." He thought for a moment. "What happens when you don't use your muscles. If you get hurt and are bed ridden for months."
"It takes a while to get your strenght back to be able to walk." He looked confused at the question.
"Can you get up and run right away?"
"No, you would fall on your face."
"Excatly, It works the same way with magic. If you don't use it your body isn't use to the engery it take. I haven't used elf magic like that in a very long time. I tried to run instead of taking baby steps."
"I see." as he tried to process the information. He finally smiled. "It's a nice day and the winds have been very good. We are making good time. We should be at Perigueux in a couple of hours. The captian is planning to stop there for several hours to make sure the ship is worthy of going acroos to Quimper."
"Thank you my boy. Would you help me up I want to go up on deck and get some air."
"Are you sure sir?"
"Yes, my boy."
"Ok." He help him up and they made their to the deck where they were greeted by the captian.
"Thank you Alcoy for your help. I am sorry it was so ruff on you." He smiled, but his face had the look of someone who had a lot more questions.
"You are welcome my friend, I see you have many questions."
"Well, I don't understand the hurry you were in back there?"
"Elche is working his way back into our world. He is using the souls of the ones who have passed to do his work. They were on there way to stop us." He kept looking out over the water Wajir stood in shock.
"But Elche has been gone for..."
"A very long time yes, but believe me he is still very much alive and want to get revenge. I tell you this because I believe you deserve to know, However I would not let this information out to the crew, no need to panic everyone."
"Yes, I agree." Wajir said and the three of them just looked out over the water and wondered what was next for them.

Evora opened her eyes to a dark shadow standing before her.
"Who are you?"
"Be not afraid my friend. It is I Elche. I am here to help you."
"I don't want you kind of help." She turned her head
"I think you and I want the same thing. We want to get back at those who have wrongly locked us up."
"I am here because I was wrong."
"Why because you were helping a friend and ask for a favor in return."
"Yes," She thought for a minute. "I was just tring to help." She straightened up. "I was giving someone hope who had none."
"And what did they do to you."
"Locked me up and stripped my magic."
"Put you in this dark cell, a beautiful thing like you should not be locked up."
"Your right, What did I do that was so wrong."
The door opened slowly.
"Come with me my dear and we will make them pay."
She started to move to the door then stopped.
"You will rule with me, you can help anyone you want without worring about getting locked up."
She stood a moment longer.
"They stripped your magic, I can give it back."
She slowly took one step.
"That's it come with me."
She picked up the pace and left the room. She found the the guards had been killed in the hall and at the main door.
"Now head toward Chantilly I will contact you in the bay of Bretagne with where you are to go."
She nodded and left in the dark of the night.
Elche smiled to himself.
