Benefit of Turmeric root

I have a passion for home made fresh juice- because i know juice has good benefits for all of us. Different fruits and spices have different functions which are good for our bodies. I’m not a health freak but it’s easy to do .

I come from tropical country and there are so many type different fruits and some time they grow wild. Different variety of fruits herb, and spices which can convert into fresh juices for example is turmeric, ginger, lemongrass and others root herbs. Those herbs can be mixed with other vegetable or any fruit juices to make a likeable drinks.

Turmeric

Turmeric have a great advantages for healthy although turmeric always associate with Curry sauce because of the yellow colour- However turmeric can help to reduce cell cancer.

In Asia turmeric known as for an healing root , by drinking pure turmeric juice which can help to reduce the sugar level in our bodies ( diabetes ) Also its help to heal an external injuries . I remember when i was a child every time i got injured or cut myself and my mom always put grater turmeric to stop the blood come out and leave it for an hour- this method help to healed the injured quickly.

Also onother example - when woman get their period their stomach get crump ( not all women) – by drinking turmeric juice mix with brown sugar its help to reduce the pain in the stomach( based on my experience lol )

Pure turmeric juice taste quiet bitter but have to mixed with other fruit or vegetable juice. Years ago my mom always made turmeric juice and mixed them with brown sugar . nowadays people like to make new creation based on traditional drink . glad i did one thou. My new creation become popular now in my village . i named the drink Be Nam (B6 ) Be just the alphabet B and Nam mean of number 6. No meaning just was no 6 in my drink menu!

Below is my new creation of turmeric juice but still based on combination from the traditional.

Original is -

3 spoon Pure Turmeric Juice

1 tbs brown sugar and add 250 ml glass warm water- then stir .

The new creation is

Turmeric Juice Recipe ( B6 )

3 spoon of turmeric juice

250 ml carrot juice

2 tbl spoon honey

1 tbls lime juices or lemon juices

Ice cubes

Method

Step 1. Use juicer to get turmeric juice and carrot juice if you don’t have juicer use grater than strain them to get the juices.

Step 2. Mixed the all ingredients’ or you may blend them to get better mixed

Step 3. Pour in to glass ,add ice cube and lime juice then stir .

Note : use glove when you do the turmeric because of the strong natural colour and may stain to your outfit.

Basically turmeric not only use in curry sauce also can convert them into healthy drinks which is very easy to do so. Drink based on turmeric very popular in Bali - Indonesia and known as a miracle drink.

If you can not find fresh turmeric root you may use turmeric powder however tasteless compare than the fresh root turmeric, i would recommend always use fresh if available.

Turmeric grow easily as long get lot sunshine – there is no turmeric seed - you may need the root if you want to grown them .
