Applebee's California Turkey Sandwich
This is from my own personal copycat recipe collection that I've had for years and years. I don't know where this Applebee's recipe clone originates.
California Turkey Sandwich- Makes 1 sandwich
Ingredients
1/4 pound sliced deli turkey breast
Mayonnaise or Kraft Miracle Whip (I prefer Miracle Whip)
2 tomato slices
1/3 cup alfalfa sprouts
Green leaf lettuce
1/2 avocado, sliced thin
2 slices whole wheat bread
Salt as preferred
Spread the mayonnaise or Miracle Whip on each bread slice. Place the turkey on one slice of bread. Top the turkey with the tomato, sprouts, and one lettuce leaf. Add the sliced avocado. Add the other whole wheat bread slice. Tada! Just like Applebee's.

Years ago, Bennigan's had a shrimp dish in a spicy plum sauce. Any chance that recipe still exists?
