I am a very big fan of Soccer in general and Fifa as a sports game. Although I have not been playing it for ages like a bunch of the die hard fans out there, I have played Fifa 09 more than any person should have. I fell in love with the game because it was super realistic to what you see in real soccer matches.

This hub is dedicated to my explanation why Real Madrid will be the best soccer team in Fifa 10. There will also be a sister hub that explains why a very large portion of people feel that Barcelona will be the best team in Fifa this year.

To answer who will be the best team in Fifa takes a solid knowledge of FIFA as a game rather then soccer as a sport. Fifa 10 will be the most realistic version of a soccer game ever made but it is still flawed in comparison to the game of soccer that we watch on tv or at various stadiums.

That being said Real Madrid will be the best team to play with on Fifa 10. This goes against my thoughts that Barcelona will be the best team overall outside of fifa.

Here is why Real Madrid will be the best team...

First off Cristiano Ronaldo is by far the best fifa player of all time, not excluding the all world team with greats like Cantona. Ronaldo is not only incredibly fast to the point where one defensive mistake leads to a breakaway, Ronaldo can finish from long ranges, he is good in the air, and he is completely skillful on the ball. This can not be said about any other player on fifa. This one player changes games and he is currently playing for Real Madrid. It should also be mentioned that Ronaldo is the best freekick taker in the game so they will be very dangerous from restarts.

Kaka - Kaka who is another one of these fast, skillful, and good finishers, which are key to winning a game of fifa. It is insane that he will be playing alongside a player like Ronaldo when he has the same game changing attributes. He serves Real Madrid multiple purposes, if Ronaldo is the focus of the best defensive player on the other team Kaka will break free and score goals. He also can be used to create plays and pass. Real has the depth to play Kaka at midfield or up top and he can be equally effective at each spot.

Benzema - Benzema is a very underrated asset the Real madrid in terms of Fifa. Most of the goals scored in fifa come from quick break and overall speed. Benzema is fast, and can finish. He is the perfect outlet player for Kaka or Ronaldo to pass the ball to in the box to finish. Benzema will also be responsible for tons of rebound goals from long shots taken by Kaka or Ronaldo. Benzema with his speed is also a threat for the long through ball or an outlet from the defense for a quick counter.

Bench - One huge factor that makes Real the best team in Fifa 10 is the bench. They are stacked with players that will fit any Fifa players style. A couple of names that will supplement the attack are Higuain, and van Nistelrooy, and Raul. All 3 of which can come in to replace hurt or tired players without losing an inch of momentum. Certain plays may even choose to start these players depending your Fifa style.

Balanced - Real Madrid is the most balanced team in Fifa 10. They have the ability with players like Ronaldo and Kaka that can play in the midfield against certain opponents, and and up top when a mismatch is present.

The midfield although not as skilled as Barcelona which is obviously not even an argument is still good enough to serve there purpose in Fifa. Midfielders can make plays but in my opinion are the least important players for winning games (again only in fifa not in soccer). They can be skipped easily and normally just make passes to the goal scoring players. This being said Real still has a strong midfield that can and will contain, Kaka, Xabi Alanso (from liverpool), and Diarra as a ball winner. Real also has the options of Guti, Drenthe, Gago, or Ronaldo is certain cases. Basically their midfield is good enough to win games.

Defense - In order to be a successful defense in Fifa you must be strong, and have pace. This is evident from Manchester United's defense who was the strongest in Fifa 09. You can see that strengh plays an equal role to speed in fifa in defense, because Man U was not the fastest defense but still overall the best.

Real Madrid Defense - Real has all the peices to make up a strong winning Defense in Fifa 10. They have Sergio Ramos from spain who is argueably one of the best overall defenders on the game with a good mix of speed and strenght with an added attacking ability. Next to him is Pepe who is very strong and has enough pace to be effective. Pepe plays big in fifa and is as valuable as the big names in the back. With the addition of Arbeloa Real Madrid has 3 very strong defenders all with attributes that suit them well as fifa defenders. You can also choose depending on your style to use Marcelo or Albiol both of which can come in and replace any player hurt or in danger of a red card.

Casillas - Super Goalie - This is the biggest factor in my explination of why Real Madrid will be the best team in Fifa 10 over other very strong teams like Barcelona and Man United. They simply have the best goalie in the game (and in the world). A strong defense is key in Fifa but its almost impossible to stop the other team from getting shots and scoring chances. Casillas is the golden nugget, the invaluable resource. In a close game it comes down to the goalie, and Casillas is the best.

That being said Real has strong players all over the pitch and more importantly the best FIFA players in all the key positions to win games. That is why they will be unmatched in Fifa 10.
