Wouldn't it be nice if you didn't have to purchase a bunch of applications to do everyday common computing tasks? Just think of the time and aggravation you could save if you didn't need to install and maintain a bunch of programs on your PC. It is possible, and easy.

What Is A Web App

A web app is an application that runs on a server on the internet, not locally on your home computer. Web apps are used through your web browser and there is no need to install an app to use it. All of the computing power is done by the server, so these apps wont slow your machine to a crawl like many popular office suites and photo editing programs.

System Requirements

If you have a modern web browser that supports Adobe Flash and Sun Java you should be able to use the majority of web apps.  A high speed internet connection is required to make these apps a productive alternative to natively installed applications.

Rochelle,

These web apps are "platform independent", meaning that they work in your web browser. As far as I know they should work fine with Safari on Mac. You could also try the Firefox web browser, it is the second most popular browser in the world after Internet Explorer and is fully supported on Mac.
