Best Months to Visit Bangkok's Red Light Districts
74Read this if you hate to sweat
Out of all the questions I get asked about Bangkok's red light districts, I would say "What are the best months to visit Bangkok?" is ranked number 4. After all Bangkok is located in a sub-tropic climate and the reputation for it's heat and humidity is absolutely true.
Bangkok is hot. There really is no other way to describe it in this hub. So imagine yourself wandering around with thousands of other tourist, sex touts, bar girls and carts cooking meat over hot coals in Bangkok's red light districts. You guessed it. It gets even hotter.
And when you add the high humidity that comes off the coast down south and from the east you're just asking for a serious case of sweat drenched t-shirt syndrome.
So when planning a trip to Bangkok and visiting the red light districts it's best to come around early October until mid March. April is typically the hottest month with 100° Fahrenheit ( 38° Celsius) and it's also a bad time to visit since most ladies involved in adult entertainment go home for a long holiday to celebrate Thai New Year.
The weather in December and January is paradise. The days are cool, yet a bit warm but most importantly comfortable. As a foreigner you'll still most likely be wearing short and a t-shirt while local Thais are wearing light jackets. I've even seen some wear scarfs. Believe me if you've never been to Bangkok it's an odd sight to see.
Now obviously Bangkok's red light districts go full operation around 9pm so you'll be happy to know that night times in December and January is plainly magical especially because the humidity is much bearable. Perfect weather for go go bar hopping and exploring.

You are right. Hot and 'Hot' makes for a very sweaty time. As long as the beer is cold.
