Best New Personal Finance Blogs 2008
49Personal finance - some people find it fascinating, most people find it terrifying, and many people wish they didn't have to deal with it. Whether it's mortgages, interest rates, foreclosures, and refinancing, or it's credit cards, debt consolidation and credit repair, financial issues impact every one of us in different ways throughout our lives.
Schools don't teach this stuff, and it can be pretty difficult to pick it up as adults, too. Blogs can help to fill the gap, because a blog post is a neat, contained piece of information about one specific topic - sort of "bite-sized" financial education, as it were.
Not all blogs are created equal, of course, and some bloggers are more well-informed than others.
This is a selection of new blogs (started in the past month or two), which I consider to be particularly worthy, if only because they display the good taste and discrimination to syndicate my articles.
I'd like to know what you think, so scan the list, and then go to the bottom of the page and VOTE!

Mark this is an incredible hub. I've bookmarked it for future reference. I voted for the All Finance Advice blog, but there's some other cool blogs listed as well. Great job, thanks.
many great ideas Mark, rated it up!
Cool I like it and yes I think its a nice use for polls - maybe I should retrofit some into my older hubs
I'm not one for polls, usually, but I had to vote for the cute paper boat ...
I'll be honest, there's too many for me to read. If you had like three on there, maybe four, I'd have gone and read them. The way you set this up was good and your writing is fine, but, to give a genuine response to your poll requires a tremendous amount of commitment on my part. Just being honest, but I saw you were asking about this in the forums.
Hi Mark,
Have you started promoting this hub. I have one hub on personal finance bookmarking site. Check it here. I don't mean to spam. I thought it will be useful for you. You can delete this comment. http://hubpages.com/hub/How-To-Get-Quality-Targete

Thanks, SunSeven - I have submitted a few sites and Hubs over there already, actually. I hope it takes off.
Hey, you missed my blog! I only started it in May 2008, I still consider it "new." By the way, all these blogs look strangely similar..... hmm....
Have you syndicated any of my articles to your blog, MoneyEnergy? ;)

By the way, I think you are spot on with your post about the rising greenback - with negative real interest rates, those governments are going to need very deep pockets indeed to keep this rise from being a "dead cat" bounce ...
Interesting to see this list 8-9 months later.... especially with the financial crisis in full gear and the USD going into uncharted territory.
great hub with lots of useful information.
