Best Preschool Software Programs

Good computer programs for toddlers help engage their imagination while teaching them something about the world around them. There are many good games available online for free, such as pbskids.org and Big Fish Games, but if you're going to pay for software for your toddler, there are many fun, education and inexpensive options out there.

One of my favorite companies that makes good, reliable and engaging software for children is called School Zone. They have a few different programs available for preschool / kindergarten-aged children, the multi-pack software seems like a good bang for your buck, ranging from preschool through kindergarten so you will get more time out of your software. My daughter still enjoys playing with her Big Pencil software from this company and I will definitely buy more of their products in the future.

Software for Kids is an excellent resource for different educational software for toddlers up until middle school. They resell software so you can buy it straight through them or just use the site to browse multiple kinds of kids software at the same time, particularly useful if you have older children or if you're buying software as a gift for someone else's kids.

Great hub. Thanks for the links. KidOz browser is really good. It opens up all the appropriate sites for your kids. It has games, videos, education stuff. Combines Nick, pbs, disney, etc. My two boys can play hotwheels or boy stuff, and my daughter can play little pony or girl stuff. It's very good. It does open up cartoon network and other sites but you can set levels, so youngest don't get on fighting games or things like that. Keep up the good work.
Ande Moore: What a fantastic idea! Thank-you so much for taking the time to read and comment, I appreciate your insight/experience.
Here is the site. It's a quick download and free. http://kidoz.net/ Enjoy, I watch alot of the vids like jimmy neutron and scooby. Best part about having kids is you get to play games and watch cartoons! I'll never grow up. Have fun.
Thanks for the link, Ande, we'll be sure to check it out!
I should have my wife look at this. She is the pre-school professional.
Nice to see you back.
Take care, and Keep on Hubbing!
Thanks, eovery! If she has two cents, (or more,) to contribute, I'd love to hear from her. Thanks for popping by and taking the time to comment, I really appreciate it!
