As an Internet marketer your biggest challenge will be getting traffic to your websites

When I first started making money online the number 1 issue that I struggled with the most was getting traffic to my websites. I found that it was easy to bang out a few paragraphs of text and stick in some links to affiliate products (I mainly use the eBay Partner Network, or EPN). But, my biggest problem was getting visitors to my sites. Basically, I learned that making money on the Internet is a numbers game. Most importantly you have to market a product that people want to buy, or "converts" in Internet speak. Then, you need to get enough pages up on Google and sufficient visitors coming to those pages on a daily basis. Believe me, it's a TON  of work but can pay off big if you work HARD and SMART.

The key to getting your websites to come up in Google is to have other websites linking in

So, along the way I did lots of research on Google and on YouTube about how to get traffic to my websites. I leanrned that based on Google's algorythm you need lots of links pointing to your website. In Google's view each link is like a "yes vote" for your website and you therefore have a higher chance of coming up in the search. Sounds simply - right? Get links and get traffic!

You can use social networking / bookmarking websites to get links into your website

But, the challenge is how to get links. There are many kinds of sites to which you can submit your website's URL. I have gone into this subject in depth in a previous hub. You can submit to social bookmarking sites (eg, Digg, Delicious, Mixx etc), Social Networking sites (HubPages, Squidoo, Zimbio etc), Video Submission sites (YouTube, Reever, Vimeo etc) and RSS feed submission sites (Feedage, Technorati, IceRocket etc).

Manual submissions to social networking / bookmarking sites is too time consuming

But, here's the No. 1 problem that all Internet marketers face: TIME. How much time do you have to submit your links to these submission sites? You only have 24 hours a day. You spent 6-8 hours sleeping, around 2-3 hours eating, maybe 2-3 hours with friends and maybe 4-6 hours working online. If you were to manually make submissions ot all these websites you'd not only go mad, you might go severely damage your hands and wrists from typing too much and hurt your eyesight from staring at your PC screen for too long!

I have found a tool which allows me to make hundreds of submissions fast

A few months ago I was lucky enough to meet another affiliate marketer. He introduced me a tool which allows me to submit my website URLs to over 20 social bookmarking sites, over 20 social networking sites, video submission sites and RSS submission sites. The product seemed too good to be true and I had several doubts before I bought.

Here were my doubts: 1) Will Google slam me for spamming these social bookmarking etc sites with too many links and 2) Won't I go nuts signing up for all these accounts AND entering those darn CAPTCHA letters/numbers on each submission.

Here's the answer: The software creates accounts for me and takes care of the CAPTCHA's automatically. There is a wonderful and easy-to-use randomization function which allows each submission to look unique to Google. That way I don't get slammed on duplicate content on my submissions.
