Case Study To Remove Rust From Clothing

What Could Be The Best Way To Remove Rust

Rust is a bit tough to get rid of... although the last resort for me is to use acid or electricity. I have been doing some reviews of all the ways to remove rust stains and found some of them a bit stretched. Maybe good for entertainment or if you like taking about 45 minutes scrubbing away... but not me.

So with this quick article, you will find a very quick look at what was working and what was not. You be the judge, as every problem has a different solution. Although, I have found some very nice results at the same time going green. So let me jump right in...

Best Way To Remove Rust In The Past

VInegar, Lemon, and Baking Soda...

Now, I am all about going green and natural, but I am not to comfy with scrubbing end on end for hours. I did a little experiment with rust stains and using vinegar and lime as well as baking soda.

I had some serious stains on the driveway and cement and asphalt. Now if you have the time to scrub for about 4 hours and use about a whole gallon of vinegar this may be the way to go. Although the rust stains did not budge.

I have heard that vinegar may be the best way to remove rust, but I was not sold on it after scrubbing on my cement driveway for about 4 hours. So I would conclude that vinegar, lemon and baking soda are not my cup of tea.

I do think, maybe if the rust stain is a bit newer... and not so darn old. I would of gotten away with saying vinegar was the winner. But, this was a really old rust stain along my walls and driveway.

What About Acid Rust Removers:

Ughh... acid... no way! I am going to have to pass. I wanted to use a rust remover that would not singe my hand off or damage my kids little bottom when they sat in the bathtub after using the product.

So I am going to pass on acidic rust removers... as being the best way to remove rust.

What About Going Green... Could This Be The Best Way To Remove Rust:

I found some very like minded people, and noticed that there was a way to remove rust without acid, without electricity, and worked on contact.

So in my opinion, especially after a free sample, this method had to be the best way to remove rust. It also worked very fast!!! and I got a free sample in the process. Not bad.

See for yourself, if you would agree that going organic is the very best way to remove rust from any surface.
