We live in a modern society where people:

  • don't get enough exercise
  • can easily get as much high calorie food as they want
  • are stuck working desk jobs their entire lives
  • grow more obese with every generation
  • are looking for a quick fix to their obesity problems

It's no wonder that the market is literally flooded with weight loss products these days. And there are dozens more new weight loss pills every single year!

How on earth can a consumer ever make the right choice? How will you ever figure out which weight loss pill is the one that suits you the best?

Many fast weight loss products available today are completely loaded with laxatives, toxic stimulants and caffeine. All of these are capable of causing serious side effects or worse.

Through the years, I have looked at weight loss pills and on occasion even tried a few. Some of these pills definitely have a noticeable effect. But in the end, I personally prefer to lose weight without any weight loss products.

Best Weight Loss Pills

When looking at weight loss pills to try out, you can keep a number of criteria in mind.

To name a few:

1. Effectiveness

How effective is the drug? Does it produce any results at all? if so, are they long term? Or will you lose them once you stop taking the drug?

2. Customer Satisfaction

How satisfied are other people with the weight loss drug you are eyeing? How many people have tried it before you, and what are their experiences with it?

3. Pricing

Is it more or less expensive than other weight loss pills on the market? If it's more expensive, does it also promise you better results than the lower priced ones?

4. Ingredient Quality

What ingredients does the weight loss drug have? Are they ingredients you've seen in other weight loss pills? Are you familiar with them? What do you know about them?

5. Scientific Research

Have the ingredients in the weight loss pill been scientifically researched? Has anybody ever managed to produce evidence that these ingredients indeed have a positive effect?

6. Safety

Are the ingredients safe? Do they cause side effects? Or worse, is there a risk that they will cause damage to your health? Permanently?

Best Weight Loss Drugs

The best weight loss pills are, in my opinion, the ones that:

  • have been approved by the FDA after extensive research and testing
  • the natural ones that aren't necessarily FDA approved, but generally no side effects are being reported

After a little bit of research, I have come up with a list of 6 weight loss pills that have either been FDA approved or are natural.

1. Bontril

This weight loss drug works as an appetite suppressant. It stimulates the satiety center in your brain, specifically the limbic regions and the hypothalamus. Use this drug in combination with a low calorie diet and moderate exercise.

This drug should only be taken for a few weeks. It is addictive and can cause you to become dependant on it.

Can cause anxiety.

2. Phentermine

Phentermine is available on prescription. It works as an appetite suppressant. It is relatively effective in helping people to lose weight, but there may be side effects.

It is highly recommended you only take this drug while under strict medical monitoring by a fully qualified doctor. Self medication with Internet purchased Phentermine can be seriously hazardous to your health.

3. Xenical

Xenical is based on another weight loss drug named Orlistat. It inhibits lipase and lets a part of the fat that you have consumed pass through the intestant without it being absorbed by your body.

Xenical has proven to be effective, especially in people who have high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes.

It doesn't affect a person's metabolic rate at all.

4. Solidax ADX

Solidax is based on Pyrovate, Synephrine and Picolinate. It is a nutritional supplement that controls your appetite and increases your metabolism.

The effectiveness of Solidax has not been scientifically proven, although some are reporting good results.

In combination with a healthy diet and exercise regime, you can expect some nice results.

5. Alli Diet Pills

Of all the weight loss pills available, this is the only one that is both available over the counter and has FDA approval.

Alli diet pills are taken 3 times daily, before meals. They work by blocking excess amounts of consumed fats. It blocks around 25% of all fats you eat per day.

The product differs from all other available products in that it also promotes a healthy lifestyle. This drug does not claim to be the one miracle pill that will solve your problems. Some other weight loss drugs are guilty of this, ofcourse. Alli Diet Pills are not.

6. Hoodia Gordonii Pure

Hoodia Gordonii is one of the most effective appetite suppressants in the world. It has been used extensively by the San Bushmen of the South African Kahali Desert. They used it on their hunting trips to keep the hunger at bay. Chewing on Hoodia two times per day was enough to make them feel full for a whole day.

Hoodia Gordonii is not FDA approved and it has not been scientifically proven that there are no side effects. However, most people report that Hoodie weight loss pills are very effective at suppressing their appetites and that there are no serious side effects.

Weight Loss Pill Safety

Of all the above weight loss pills listed above, the following applies:

Bontril, Phentermine, Xenical and Solidax ADX are FDA approved, but have still caused serious side effects in some people.

Alli Diet Pills are FDA approved. No serious side effects have ever been reported for this drug.

Hoodie Gordonii is completely natural and has not been FDA approved. No serious side effects have been reported.

Weight loss pills can help you in your quest to shed the pounds and get a trim body. Just so long as you realize that they are only supplements.

You yourself, and not the drugs, are ultimately responsible for your own results and your own health!
