Spring break fun

Alright, so I noticed you live in Oregon. 5 Places I have noticed in Oregon that aren't that crowded during spring break are:

1. Seaside Oregon/Oregon Coast. Now I know what you are about to say, "What are you talking about its so crowded there and everyone goes there on vacation." Well yes this is true, but there is so much to do that I have rarely noticed the crowds unless you hit the beach or go to town for lunch at noon. But honestly any of the beaches of Oregon offer the same luxury seaside offers and also offers the same attractions. If you are really into marine life, hit the Oregon Coast aquiarium, where they offer tours and have interesting information on different marine life discoveries. If you want, hit lincoln city, where the beach isn't too crowded during the day, and if you avoid the casino, you wont run into too much of a crowd. All three of these locations offer some great pre-summer fun for the spring break vacation.

2. Mount Hood skiing fun. The mountain is kicking of spring ski season. A lot of family fun can come from this. Just a quick trip up to Mount hood ski-bowl and there you are enjoying the last bits of winter before the summer weather hits and you have to wait until next year. The only real crowd up here would probably be season pass holders but its a spacious mountain and there is plenty of room.

3. Boating on the Rogue River. You can Join white water rafting guides as they lead you down the exciting Rogue River, you will enjoy seeing deer, and other wild life from Oregon's great wildlife. Also you will experience the rush and excitement of White water rafting. A must for anyone who has yet to participate in this extreme sport yet.

4. Hiking and camping. Any of the national parks and forests in oregon are perfect for hiking and camping. A good way to gear up for the summer is to get a good camping trip in so that you are excited to do it again and again this summer. Be sure to prepare for rain and other weather conditions though as spring weather, and oregon weather can be unpredictable.

5. Your own home town. Most people go out of town during thier spring break. As a result it may free up time and space for yourself to go check out the sights aroung your own home town that you may have yet to see. Enjoy the scenic beauty of Oregon or enjoy local muscians or even just relax in a local park in the sun. Sometimes enjoying a spring break isn't any farther than your own back yard.

I hope this helped Stephhicks.

Awesome! Thanks - for some reason, I didn't get the alert that you answered the request. We're going to Portland (from Bend). :-)
