Lexus is the biggest selling luxury car maker in the US even ahead of the mighty BMW. It is justified however as they make great cars that fulfil all you’re motoring needs. They do not aim to give you the best possible driving experience but you will be very comfortable and be safe in the knowledge your car is one of the most reliable on the road. The Lexus image of being for old or boring people has been around for a long time now so how can they change people opinions and become suitable for a wider audience?

Well it seems they are following a move that Volvo made a few years ago. Small cars are seen as younger and sportier than their saloon counterparts and the Volvo C30 has aided in changing Volvo’s image slightly. So what have Lexus come up with to make them seem younger, hipper if that is even a word.

The LF-Ch is a full hybrid car which means it can run either on full petrol or only on the electric motor. It is currently only a concept but Lexus gave signs it may go into production in 2011. The car has a great modern look with aluminium lines giving the dashboard the look of a much larger more premium car that would be normally associated with such high grade materials. The car itself is based on the corolla but has been “refined” to provide a superior feel.With the quality found in other lexus's the LF-Ch could be the best small car of 2011.

The LF-Ch is a great looking car and being young and “cool” myself (hopefully) I would not mind being seen in one at all. However it still doesn’t compare to a Mito in terms of looks nothing does!
