Little shopping carts make great toys for 2 year old girls. Little toddlers love pushing them around. They can copy Mummy and do the shopping. They make great props for teaching what different foods are called. 2 year old girls will also love pushing teddies or dolls around in this toy. A good use of the shopping cart is tidying up. An easel is a great long term toy for 2 year old girls. My 2 year old has an easel and he loves using chalk and drawing pictures. We also use it for painting and coloring. It's great for me. I put it out in the kitchen to keep my little one occupied while I'm cleaning or cooking. We also take it outside. The Melissa and Doug easel is great as you can adjust it as your child grows which means it will last for a long time.

Magna Doodle's are great toys for 2 year old girls. We bought one for our niece for her 2nd birthday and she loves drawing on it. The problem is that many of the adults enjoy drawing on it too so it's a toy that is always in high demand. It's a great toy as it provides all the fun of drawing without any mess. Magna Doodles are also easily portable and make great travel toys.

2 year olds love fridge magnets. They are a great toy to have in the kitchen to keep a 2 year old girl occupied while a carer is doing other things. These ones are particularly great as you can move the magnetic letters into a reader and it will say the name of the letter. My niece plays for hours with this toy. It's a highly recommended buy. In my opinion one of the best toys for 2 year old girls.

Mr and Mrs Potato Head are great toys for 2 year olds. My son and niece both got one last Christmas and they have loved playing with all the parts and fitting them into Mr Potato Head. It keeps them occupied for quite a while. It's great for teaching them the names of body parts too. It's a classic toy which you can't really go wrong with.

My niece loves to make cups of tea for everybody to drink. 2 year old girls will love this musical tea set. The teapot plays the tune I'm a little teapot and it makes a pouring sound when you pour the tea. It is a really pretty set. It includes cups, saucers, spoons, sugar bowl and a teapot. It fits really nicely onto a tray too.
