This is another great little construction toy. 5 year old boys can build lots of different creatures and then play with them. There are 50 different building ideas that come with the toy and can be copied or you can make your own constructions from your imagination. The pieces are big and easy for little hands to manipulate. It is also a good toy that spans different age ranges and there are reviews on Amazon that say brothers and sisters also enjoy the toy.

 Many 5 year old boys love batman and there are some great batman toys available. Fisher Price makes the Super Friends Batcave which is a very popular toy with this age group There are lots of accessories that come with the cave including batman, robin, bat-computer, bat-cycle, Robin's staff/hook weapon, 2 batarangs. Transformer toys are very popular with 5 year old boys at the moment. However, a lot of these toys are very difficult to "transform" which leads to some frustration and an adult having to help.
